A south Indian, brought up in Ambernath, Maharashtra, this song was so encouraging to me I have no words to describe its lyrics and beautiful music which when I heard today emotes me beyond myself. यह तो एक अमर गीत है। बचपन में हमारे गांव की ग्राम पंचायत में सुबह सुबह लाउडस्पीकर पर यह गीत बजाया जाता था। कविता में चरावया पक्षी शब्द खटकता है। पक्षी दाने चुगने जाते हैं। चरना शब्द जानवरों के लिए प्रयोग किया जाता है। पक्षियों के लिए नहीं।

My grandpa's fav morning Song......mornings were real ones when i would wake up with Ghanashyam Sundara on the lap of my grandpa and then with 5 uncles around from one hand to the other. Waking up in the morning was a grotesque experience with at least 10 people around paying you attention.
