Smallville ran for 10 Seasons and fans loved the adventures of young Clark Kent, played by Tom Welling, and his relationship with his future nemesis, Lex Luthor, played by Michael Rosenbaum. But no story would be complete with a great cast of other characters, John Glover played Lionel Luthor, Laura Vandervoort played Kara, also known as Supergirl, who is Clark's Kryptonian cousin. And Alaina Huffman played Dinah Lance, the Black Canary. This awesome reunion brings them together to talk about the show that inspired the Arrowverse and so much more!

The producers & writers were significantly better than Flash, Arrow, Supergirl & Krypton. I tried to watch all those shows but lost interest fairly quickly. But, I've really enjoyed Doom Patrol & Umbrella Academy.

"hopefully in your heart you knew that superman was out there" - Tom gets it, I've watched the seasons like 4 times at different points in my life and the friendships and relationship changes are so cathartic for me. So lucky to have grown up with some wholesome television. No one ever did superman (or lex ;)) better.

She got involved with some kind of sex cult type thing, as one of the people who brings others in to that life. I think she may have been in a relationship with the cult leader at the time, not sure about that. It's a really crazy read.

yeh he bulked loads which is great because superman is supposed to be huge.
He really aged with the character too. Welling was young when he got the role so we saw him grow into a man and by extension Clark Kent grow into Superman

It was the exploration of humanity that made the show so great. Tom and Mike were incredible. And the rest of the cast enabled them to really construct a believable world ❤️

This cast was amazing, the chemistry between the characters was positively perfect. These people were the characters they portrayed like they stepped right our of the comic book pages onto the screen. Miss Erica Durance on this panel, she was what Lois Lane should be.
Erica Durance is my least favorite Lois Lane. She did not have good chemistry with Tom.

Smallville really kickstarted The DCU on The WB/CW which lead to The Arrowverse and really Opened My Eyes to realizing from watching Justice League and Justice League Unlimited that I was a Bigger Fan of DC vs Marvel
I had gotten to go there and meet all of them. IT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE. 😂😂❤️❤️❤️ I grew up watching Smallville (I was born 2001, when the show came out) they are all my heroes and are the nicest people on earth. I couldn't even dream that meeting them would be that amazing and they made me beyond happy and made my wildest dreams come true! I can't say thank you enough to them for being so nice!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Don't ever listen to the people that say "don't meet your heroes, because all they will do is let you down". THATS NOT TRUE. I met my Heroes, and they made things so far beyond my dreams come true.❤️❤️❤️

Smallville teenage memories. It was one of the shows I looked forward to watching when I was a teenager plus Tom was and still hot.
Smallville is the best superhero series and I don’t even watch flash arrow supergirl or any other superhero series coz all don’t even match the level of Smallville.

The Flash is pretty good, Arrow lost it's mojo pretty quickly, Supergirl comes off as the progressive equivalent of "Seventh Heaven", it's just a little too in-your-face with it's message.
Would have been better if Erica was on it , she made the show so much brighter by far my favourite Lois Lane!!!

Best superhero TV show to date for me. Tom did a fantastic job as Clark Kent and Erica Durance and Tom's portrayal of Lois and Clark was just beautiful. The story had great build up and Micheal was the best Lex Luther ever cast. The reunion I've always wanted.

Michael Rosenbaum seems like he has such a funny personality! Lex and Clark are two of my favorite characters. This is the only 'superman' show I will watch. The characters have so much chemistry with each other that make Smallville cast a family. This is one of my absolute favorite shows to watch.
Michelle Cochran - Michael did a Fox comedy show a few years back and he was great. Super funny. Don’t remember the name of it but I’m sure you can search for it online. It would be great if he did more comedy.
Micahel has a podcast called Inside of You and it's one of the best podcasts out there.
Michael is loud and annoying sometimes... but he's goo much charisma and he seems sincere and transparent enough to be lovable and charming in his own way. Love Tom Welling, though. He is so mild-mannered and gentle even outside his Smallville role. Yet, he's just as funny and smart. Not boring. And he's so modest too.
I really like the environment and songs of smallville.
Indeed, early 2000s music and small town in south USA. it feels really youthful and simple, unlike many superheroes movies nowadays where everything is such a big deal.

I could not recognize Tom Welling. Even his voice sounded quite different. I keep forgetting how many years have past. I look in the mirror and am unrecognizable to myself! This is truly one of the great groups of actors that played in an amazing TV show.
I think Tom is great. I haven't seen him in the present for years. I'm 63. He still looks young. But with the goatee and the ball cap I didn't recognize him until partway into the video. I would never insult the man. He played one of my favorite TV roles of all time. I think I better watch the way I word things when commenting. Thanks for the reply.

Tom was a beautiful man in Smallville. Just had those boyish good looks. He doesn't look as good now, but hasn't stayed in shape either. If you look at Justin Hartley, he has stayed in shape and still looks just as good as from when he was on Smallville.

@Dan S The best seasons of Smallville were 1-5 (The WB). Seasons 6 and 7 (CW) had some good episodes, but after Lex, Lana, Martha and Lionel left the show, it was completely dead.
I laughed throughout this entire panel, man it is awesome.

Thank you for posting this . Was so great to see John Glover, Black Canary and Super girl . I see a lot of Tom and Michael on posts during the years since Smallville ended. Great memories relived of an amazing series. Have not seen another that I have loved as much as Smallville. Really appreciate these posts of the cast panels as I cannot attend any. Look forward to more of these.
