    when you paint the edges, is there any concern of the paint chipping off or wearing away? i know they don't get glazed or resin on them, but since I'm doing keychains, they're sure to be exposed to some abrasive environments (pockets, bags along with other stuff in the bag rubbing against it etc). would it be a good idea to use a small paint brush to lightly brush the edges with resin?

The ca glue works great for the pins but I would like to glue a shrink plastic piece that I've painted and sealed with resin on both sides to a fabric ribbon. • @AmyMade
      @AmyMade  Před 2 lety

      When I started making shrink plastic videos a few years ago, no one was taking about it. Now, I’m sure it’s a common knowledge. You don’t need to seal printable shrink plastic because it has a special coating over the plastic. But regular shrink plastic, You need to. You can seal with decopage medium or spray sealer, depending on what color medium you used.

      Because uv light needs to penetrate through an object for the resin to cure. You’ll end up with uncured resin under the finding; uv resin is not meant to be used as a glue unless you’re using transparent/translucent parts.
