Honestly, watching these speaker's corners videos for the past 5 months, gave me my Deen back Alhamdulillah but at the same time it opened my eyes to the fact that so many people in this religious world are either confused, brainwashed or straight up malicious. As this was originally a discussion about enforcing Jizyah and its limit (but was later diverted to the expulsion of the Jews of Khaybar). IMHO Adnan and others missed a huge point. Joseph himself read the hadith saying: "...but they (the Jews) requested he would let them stay there on condition that they would do the labour and get half of the fruit". Notice that this amount i.e. 50% was a condition offered the Jews of Khaybar themselves, NOT what the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) initially asked of them. He (pbuh) accepted their terms not vice versa.
Every citizen needs to pay some form of tax. Muslim paid Zakat and non-muslim paid Jizya. There are also extra benefits of paying Jizya that are not associated with Zakat. For example extra protection, not participating in military service etc. Islam realize the practicality of hardship of minority living in a ethnical or religiously majority population and apply extra protection for them equivalent to Zakat. It is a very well known reason. Why they are not saying that?!

Jizya has nothing to do with a war penalty. A penalty is meant for punishment like a parking fine.
Jizya is like the road tax. Everyone wants to live in the society so everyone in a Muslims society must pay zakaat. But only Muslims can pay zakaat so if you’re a non muslim and u want to live under muslim law you must pay a tax like every muslim is paying. So this is called Jizya.
If you conspire against the government even in modern times. You’re either imprisoned or sometimes capital punishment is given. The prophet allowed you to live freely under the condition you leave. They begged to stay so the prophet by the will of Allah swt and his mercy allowed them to stay and only pay a penalty. That penalty ensures they do not misbehave in society again.

The problem with this discussion is that it doesn't get at the heart of the matter which is without Christianity there is no Islam.
Remember it was Muhammad's first wife's uncle who was a Christian who told Muhammad that he was visited by the angel gabriel.

So to answer your question we must first start off with “let us make man in our likeness”. Man is made up of Soul, Body and Spirit. The Soul was Jesus and the body was Jesus as well which Jesus was of man. The spirit was of God! Having the spirit of God in him gave Christ the authority to do the works he was able to do and remain sinless. Christ was a servant unto the Lord as one being a son onto his father.
God is spirit he is not flesh and through Gods spirit Christ was able to do the fathers will. In modern day English we call it “taking the wheel”. Christ could have done nothing unless it was of the father's will. This is said time and again through the Christ scriptures. That “oneness” was the spiritual connection to God. The fact is that his soul could communicate with the father on a direct level because Christ had given his spirit over to the Lord completely.
Remember because the Father is spirit the Lord could reside in Christ and be everywhere else at the same time. Hence making everything possible through the will of the Lord and why Christ could still look to the Heavens and give him all the glory.
