I have the same E500 S211 4matic airmatic 2004 in black with 18 wheels and its so fun when you want it to be and so comfortable when you are driving calmly. Nothing like old Mercedes.

When I was young, I hated this car because it looked like an undertaker's vehicle. However, now that I'm 35, I love wagons. I adore the interior of this s211!

Nice, looks clean. I have a E500 sedan lowered on coilovers with AMG wheels, AMG front and rear bumper and C63 quad exhaust tips.
I think a E63 front end swap would look amazing on this wagon of yours.

Congrats. I need a wagon in my life. I currently have an 03 S430 and have had a few Benzes from this era. They are not scary to own at all. M112/113 engines mated to the 5 speed are quite bulletproof setups

What a lot of car and utility for the money! Frankly, anyone that makes those big monthly payments on some generic bland basic new or newer crossover/SUV instead of using that down payment money getting something like this is absolutely out of their mind!

I have a 2004 E320 4matic wagon. It has 90,000 km (55k miles) and pretty pristine. Great car for a road trip

Misfire is probably a failing ignition coil- easy and not expensive to fix.
Plugs and a new #5 injector did the job! But i’ll keep that in mind

You know the m113k is an easy swap for these ;)
Does the awd system send 70 rear 30 front or 30 front 70 rear or 50 50 and thats it or doesnt it actually torque vector with the computer like 68 rear 32 front with the stability control?
70 rear and 30 front, and it also does 50/50 but I don’t think this does torque vectoring
@@BernonCars i was wondering that about the v6 rav 4 awd system too because ive seen a slow mo video of it engaging in snow and its impressivly fast i think it might use the computer to figure how much to send front an back rather then a set amount

@@BernonCarsreliability reasons or just bored of it ? There’s an 03 e500 sedan over here for 8k with 87k miles and I’ve heard this gen is pretty reliable
Mainly because of reliability, I really got fed up with it pretty quickly, I already sold it 🤣

I don’t think so!
Key to any older premium vehicle is maintenance records.
Generally speaking, the owners of these cars have the maintenance done at the dealership and keep records.
Don’t buy one that’s been neglected.
Even if you need to repair something on these, you’ll get a lot of car for the money if you take care of it.
If you can’t save a couple hundred a month for things that inevitably come up, you won’t have a good time. (Same as any car, but it sucks driving luxury vehicles with issues)
