Yeah. All Tabu films are the highest grossing movies in the world exceeding trillion dollars each.
He is still busy promoting that movie and taking credits for it's success. I unfollowed him recently, I know he is an outsider and struggled a lot but come on be humble too.

Tabu is relevant because she didn't care about being seen. She kept doing the work she liked, hits and flops didn't matter.
And today she's reached a point where every film she does, eventually becomes her film.
A career spanning across 30 years, she still has so much to offer.
I would love to see more of these, maybe with Rani Mukerji next.

When I tell people my favourite Indian Actress is Tabu, Shefali Shah and Vidya Balan, to my surprise everyone agrees to that no matter their first choices were.

normally i watch interviews at 1.5 x speed but Tabu, i watch it at normal speed because i really want to savor her. she is so beautiful, articulate and classy. she has been my crush when i was 10-12 yrs old and now my son is growing and i am pretty sure he will develop a crush on her. she still has been beautiful and relevant.
Tabu is tabu because she is not affected by what others are doing . She is not threatened by any actress .she has distinctive image. I strongly feel that she deserved much more. She is underrated actor .her dam care attitude towards rat race makes her beautiful .

The greatest people never sing their praise or fish for compliments and are always humbled/surprised by any form of praise. Despite being such a veteran she is always a bundle of joy and absolute stunner. Not once has one felt that she acts like a tantrum-throwing diva. Tabu is humble greatness personified. My absolute favourite actor today!
Indian cinema is lucky to have an actress like Tabu - though it doesn't deserve her fully yet. (Half a dozen more Gulzars and Vishal Bhardwajs could have made it more deserving). Actors of her skills and range lend meaning to cinema itself. Perhaps except the one exception of what Sridevi did in Chaalbaaz, Tabu is capable of reprising and excelling all other great performances that Indian cinema has produced so far in its century long journey. She is a special talent, blessing the world of art and the commoners like us with moments and instances of cinematic/artistic excellence.
Love her so much and had to say it here because of how everyone is hailing Karthik Aryan as the poster boy for hits in Bollywood when clearly Tabu was the star of BB2. Whether she was on poster or promotions, people came back to watch her and her performance. Tabu is phenomenal and her acting range is unbelievable. She can do anything and that too effortlessly. The Namesake, Chandni Bar, Biwi No.1, Maqbool, Vijaypath, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Fitoor, Jeet, Jai Ho, Aabar Arannye ( Bengali film), Andhadhun and so many South Indian films...no matter what the role is or the length or the language Tabu just knows how to nail it every time.
Mujhe lagta hai Tabu can explain her thoughts better in Urdu/Hindi. I really wish this interview wasnt conducted in English. Even her sense of humor comes out well. But I still enjoyed it.
I loved from her debut Prem .. what a journey she came through to be where she is. From being treated as a non starter side character to taking over Indian cinema at 50+ age. Her films are so many and so profound and crosses language barriers world cinema. She is the embodiment of perseverance and overcoming to reach the top of all tops of acting success.

Regretting the fact that I discovered this gem of a performer late in my life… But still I rewatched all of her movies and interviews and no words are enough to describe her… She is truly one of kind and I won’t think performers with this talent, aura, intellect would be born… I can only picture the best of the lot as Meryl streep, Cate blanchett, Sridevi, Tabu… I’m just grateful to even live during her generation and get inspired… Such a Goddess she is !
