This game happened 9 days after I was born My dad, mom, uncle, and aunt were sitting along the 50 yard line this game My dad, uncle, and Aunt rooting for the Vikings And my mom rooting for Emmit Smith and the cowboys! RIP mom💜💜💜
Thanks for posting. This was from the time when TNT and ESPN split SNF for some reason. Never liked Pat Haden on broadcasts, he came off as a pompous entitled jerk (confirmed years later when he was athletic director at USC)
When Tony Romo became the QB is when I began analyzing QB accuracy. There were three Tonys and one never knew which one would show up. There was the good Tony that would consistently throw the ball within a circle of about 1' in diameter. When good Tony showed up the Cowboys won. Then there was fair Tony. His passes were in a circle of up to 3' in diameter. If the run game was working Dallas would still win. And of course there was bad Tony. He could only hit a circle at least 6' in diameter. Dallas rarely won the bad Tony games. In this game we saw a barely fair Troy. For the most part the running game wasn't working. The defense won this game by keeping it close until the Vike's defense was worn down. If Troy had put the pass in OT out front instead of behind Fleming he might have run it in on the play before Emmitt's TD. Before that he threw a pass to Moose that hit the turf 3' in front of him. If good Troy shows up this game isn't close. (Yes, early on there were some inexcusable drops of good passes but on the whole Troy was barely fair the entire game.)
Good ol' Warren... I grew up in Houston. I saw Earl Campbell who took Oilers to two title games. Then the Run and Shoot. Warren amassed a 3-7 playoff record and all three wins were wild card games. Could not win a divisional playoff game. Just like the Cowboys have been since 1995. Even with a bye. One and done instead.
Winning TD by Smith is a credit to that Dallas o-line. Anyone with an ounce of speed in the league scores on that play. This is why Smith will forever be seen as over rated; because he was. Put a Barry Sanders behind that line and you probably see a 3,000+ yard rusher in one of his years.
The 95 Cowboys were dangerous because they willed themselves to victory in tight games through sheer tyranny of will. Frisco was the MUCH better team that year in the NFC. Probably would have stomped the Cowboys had they matched up in the playoffs.
Dallas was better in 1992 when they had alvin harper. San fran could beat the 95 team but not that 92 team. Alvin harper caused san fran to get deion sanders.
This game was played on the day Patrick Mahomes was born (September 17, 1995)

Thanks for the upload Bart! Troy Aikman and Warren Moon were 2 of the best quarterbacks in the NFL back in the 1990s.
Amazing game; amazing QBs; amazing RBs; amazing WRs; amazing defenses, but E. Smith sealed the deal in the end!
I was at this game. Twas great! What an announcing team, Vern Lundquist & Pat Hayden!?!

Pat Hayden is soooo underrated, he is so dang good
I love this game!!! I love DALLAS COWBOYS!!!!
I miss DJ #48, he was a work horse.
6 Days Till Sunday. What a TNT special
Audio is bad, sounds like a wind tunnel..
Thanks for this..our games with the vikings have always been good usually.
I remember this game
31 field goals in a row. There's something about that statistic that makes a Vikings fans feel uneasy.
No 1975 Roger Staubach hail mary needed in this one, just Emmitt Smith was all that was needed.
The Cowboys would not win another game at Minnesota until 2016.
Robert Smith was such a great runner, those strides look so effortless & clean.
Id watch this with bad audio and all just to relive it Dynasty!💪
love the commercials :-)
it was a better world back then i miss it.
@@robertanello51..... very much so

1:58:14 is that Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario? Wow
Hey Bart do you happen to have 2004 Vikings vs Cowboys?

Audio is good now..6 mins until halftime..
Hopefully Sunday’s game is a good one also.
Do you have 2010 week 8 texans and colts
Even back then the Cowboys would always have to struggle to win in Minnesota. Really the one time they cruised to a victory was in 1993.
Cowboys shouldn't have had to go to OT to beat this Vikings team. That's for damn sure.
Winning TD by Smith is a credit to that Dallas o-line. Anyone with an ounce of speed in the league scores on that play.

Played a bad game against an inferior opponent and still won

Then how come they(49ers) lost at home to GB?
I'm a Niners fan and I say that tl this very day. Unfortunately, those damn Packers used to kick my Niners asses in the mid 90s

Aikman trash AF
you garbage
You're eyesight is trash AF
That's why he won 3 superbowls right??
