Thank you so much for this video - I was getting super frustrated as a complete non-techy person with hooking the maonocaster am-100 up to my mac and streaming through streamyard and youtube. After watching more than 5 other videos yours was the one that had it click for me - what I was missing. I also had to play around with the input/output in my mac settings, but it was your video that even made me think of it. Really appreciate you doing this. BTW - I also don't have a mic with the big xlr port so I had to purchase an adapter (easy enough). I have officially tested a recording and could hear the mixing in the output - praise the Lord! All my best!

I got one but but trying to get to work threw my computer so I can use my gamming head set has been the problem, everyone shows the unit but not how they hook it up to the (OTHER) mixer to get it to work, could you show that? That would help alot thanks...

Question : I have this Soundcard it works well but one thing everytime I use the voice changer like baby or woman or robot it will play but whenever I go to play the video recording back I can’t hear any of those like I can hear it change my voice to those at all , is their something wrong with the soundcard? I really need help. I am using the MaonaCaster lite mixer. I need to be able to hear the audio track already on the dashboard so that I can do a voiceover on top of it. I have the headset plugged into the mixer along with the mic as instructed. Yet, the only sound I can hear is what I am saying into the mic and I cannot HEAR the other tracks. What gives? I have both my input and output settings to the mixer because both the headset (output) and the mic (input) are there. I just dont understand! Please help!

I got this product. I can't use the sound effects when recording through Adobe Audition or Audacity. It either sounds like scratches in playback or it doesn't record at all. Any suggestions?

Sorry. Don't remember. You would still need a converter XLR-to-3.5mm. That could be Phantom powered.

I have an Audiotechnica condenser mic, so I didn't get the Maono one. However, it doesn't work when I plug into the mic input? Does that mean that it requires phantom power? or this device only allows microphone from its own brand?
Like he mentioned in the video, condenser mic requires phantom power :)

You’ll need to connect the condenser mics via an audio interface to maono. There’s a video on CZcams on how to do it, search around. 👍

the answer is yes to anything that you are able to send it out via the connection. cause its a podcast so its supposed to work for everything as long as you click maono caster

so does this push the sound from your computer to the headset? i want to use this for gaming. does the monitor slider adjust all PC volume? Or only raise and lower how loud you hear yourself in your headphones? if im playing a game or something am i forced to adjust sound volume from the windows taskbar?
it works for everything if connected to the pc. also make sure you adjust your headset vol. cause that will also be a factor for the maono caster. its for sure worth the money if your learning and it will help you figure stuff out if you wanna go speending 2-400$ on on better set ups and what not.
the mic and rec knobs will adjust your gain (recording) level. the monitor fader will adjust your headphone volume. if you want to record/stream your pc audio just be sure to turn on the loopback button, if it's off you will hear your pc audio but it will not stream it/record it.
could have done better at explaining the setup on the PC, like the settings to change on headset and mic and then if anyone uses discord. Sound effects dont work through discord though
I'm sitting right now trying to set this darn thing up through my computer. I did everything HE told me to and I don't hear audio through my headset. It's coming through my monitor. I don't know....I'm not very tech savvy and i'm getting frustrated .

I just got the Maonocaster light AM 20 four Christmas, and I had a problem with the Bluetooth part. The mixer it works just fine but when I pair the phone up to the mixer and when I start recording or going live on Facebook the mixer does not broadcast out like it should, when you pair the phone up to the mixer by Bluetooth aren’t you supposed to be able to record on your phone or go on Facebook live and when you play back on your phone shouldn’t the mixer and all of the sound effects comes through over the Internet when you are broadcasting? Or does it only work like that when you hook up the cables to the mixer? I am confused about that part because on the Rodecasterpro when I pair my phone up to that mixer by Bluetooth whenever I FaceTime someone or record on my phone or do anything like that it comes through the mixer and I am able to broadcast out over the Internet so when I play my recording back on the phone I can hear everything that the mixer does including sound effects etc., but when I do the same thing with the Maonocaster, it doesn’t do that, in other words when I play the recording back it sounds like I am just recording on my phone without the equipment rather than Broadcasting out like it is supposed to. So can you help me with this problem?

No USB headset support. It comes with a microphone, and you can get a standard Stereo plug for ears.

I purchased one for fun. This little system is great for pre-record your videos, BUT not going live. Warning! Your music input will not work while live streaming (the sound/music) is faded, like far away; I can't hear it. Live streaming is just for mic, no sound effects work and no music input works.
