Super helpfull as a coach in crossfit! Now let's pick some of the girls' lifts!
Don’t worry we got a video in the pipeline! Stay tuned!
I don’t do weight lifting but I do go to CrossFit gym for burn classes. I found the content of this very interesting and informative. Who knows maybe this 60 year will start lifting!
I help people get into lifting over 60 on a frequent basis! Here for you if you need it 😊
Such a great, informative analysis - excellent coaching tips
as always, awesome step by step analysis. Considering that this was the 9th event of the weekend (and by this point all the athletes biked long, ran a fast 5k, flipped heavy pigs... aka legs were very tired) the numbers we saw were impressively close to their 1RM.
Crazy to think how fit these guys are that they can operate under such high fatigue!
Beautiful analysis. And super digestible coaching
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏
Awesome Sonny!
Excellent 👍
Great analysis! Crazy to see such big weights going up with bent elbows
Crazy to see how far CrossFit has come!
Awesome analysis, mate! What program are you using to automatically show the angle throughout the movement?
I can’t give away all my secrets 🤫
Farlow is in team giraffe. It would be probably still ok to stand narrower near with shins near the end of the knurling. Ass up, chest up, straight view is needed as you said but it's nothing what Crossfitters reinforce when doing barbell cycling for example. It's a single attempt setup (setup, lift, setup again, lift, ...).
I did 8 rounds with 12 muscle snatches yesterday. And tried proper Oly muscle snatches with proper setup for each lift what is way slower and more exhausting. If you train for mixed models (for time) or train for 1rm (strength test) are basically two different movements. But it's like learning Italian and Spanish at the same time (i.e. you will mix it what result in akward moments during the next holidays)
Barbell cycling and maxing out require two drastically different movement patterns. Too be an elite level athlete you need to to know how to do both as efficiently as possible. It’s like comparing the technique of someone running 100metres vs a runner doing a 5km run. Two completely different techniques and efficiencies are required. ❤
Great video, mate! It's an absolute miracle to me how Jack got any of his lifts off the floor. Brute strength but in terms of his technique, especially so elegantly broken down by you, it's horrendous :) Bronislaw is pronounced Bro-ni-slaV not like coleslaw
It's really exciting to see how much potential Jack has. I think an easy 190kg in 4-6 weeks and your looking at over 200kgs if he did a solid 12 week olympic program tailored to his weaknesses!
@@sonnywebsterGBExactly! Especially considering the many years ahead for this lad in the sport of CrossFit, this would make a tremendous difference and prep him for an even higher placement on the leaderboard!
Jack and Emma on something:)
Good analysis but you forgot to talk about all the work that they have already completed. Their lifting and movement will changed based on the fact that their bodies have already done so much work at this point if the competition (Specifically a lot of pulling)
Ironically this shouldn’t effect their technique. Only the capacity of their lifts. There movement mechanics will remain the same. What they lifted was very impressive particularly after 8 grueling tests!
@@sonnywebsterGB sometimes you have to make technical adjustments based on how your body is feeling.
Sonny, when will you analyze.... CRAIG RICHEY's weightlifting, it would be epic!
Dynamic starts are also more favored by super heavyweight lifters, which none of these guys are.
