@56yuoi Yeah, they are nice. Too bad they are slow in production. I guess with all the glitches and issues, they rather fix it from the beginning in order to not have issues in the future.
Had I known you would have been in the area I would have stopped by! I took my Dad on the V's on Monday from Norristown. 803 and 804 were put in service Monday morning. Did you get any shots of the Solari board on the Amtrak level? It's scheduled to be removed this Spring.
oh thanks
@murjax Thanks. I think it's only during rush hour. Every time we have been there I hear the automated announcement followed by live PA announcer.
@seClip9 Thanks. It was nice to see the 2 new additions.
@SuperStarRendon it has to do with the company getting used to SEPTA and US standards.
Silverliner Vs are currently not running until further notice due to cracks found in the trucks on all but 5 of the Rotem cars.
Kevin Meno they are back on track now
Unlike NY, they don't tell which stop a septa train is stopping!
is this in ney york
#803 and #804 is an add on addition. Great catch of it there in the consist.
This is not New York, This is Philadelphia.
@GenesisSanctuary Thanks. I like the new one. The old ones, have uncomfortable seats in my opinion.
Very good shots

The SL-5's motor whine when accelerating sounds EXACTLY like the N-5 "Baby Silverliners" on the Norristown High-Speed Line.
@hisan01 so do you.
@thebusofdoomfsx check out my video on that creepy announcer voice lol
If they're new and that empty, then how come their having so many flat wheels ...
It sounds like they have flat wheels but it’s just the motor wheel.
Nice catches of the Silverliner Vs. Do they always do double announcements at 30th St?
@SuperStarRendon I'm getting a video of the tomorrow as they travel on Paoli/Thorndale Line in the morning.
Why is the door layout on these cars asymmetrical?
@Acela150Kid yes, I did

@SuperStarRendon Awesome! Are you going to post them?
those engines for Septa, are they ALP44s or AEM-7s
Both
Nice Silverliner V action , its a shame Septa couldn't replace all its fleet or wires.....sigh...my dreams are always dashed with that system....
@alex1999x This is in Philly
1:30 can it depart with open doors?!
That 5.26 departed with several doors open ...
@alex1999x NY sucks. They can't get something this nice. they can only get cheap junk that breaks and then they contact SEPTA to come up and fix it.
Silverliner V's SUCK!!!
