Wow!! I have the four Union Pacific units. They are great. I never thought I would see these distinctive high hood units in anything but brass! I look forward to low hood Union Pacific, Rock Island, Milwaukee and Pennsylvania units (complete with train phone antenna)!
I'm waiting with anticipation for the Rapido U25B to arrive. The Frisco mandarin orange and white livery was introduced on U25B #802 on February 14, 1965 (Valentine's Day). I would love to see a Frisco version with black and yellow stripes as well as a low nose version in future runs.
Oregon and California Eastern - Weyerhaeuser, would be nice, both the yellow scheme and green would be, well lets just say, niffty! Yellows had rotary beacons, both had plows. They were rebuilt and had EMD prime movers, so EMD prototype sound would be appropriate. All those short line logging modelers out there are, I'm sure waiting, to see, how many logs they can haul with a Rapido! Thank you, for all the good work you and your team does!
Looking forward to SP U25Bs someday from Rapido, and maybe new long hoods in a future release for the Bicentennial U25BE SP 6800 and the SP TE70-4S "Popsicles" =)
Very attractive and impressive looking U25b locomotive models, as relating to the "low nose" engines my favorite examples are the Santa Fe and Great Northern examples. There are both high/ low nose models offered in this production run and all the road names look great, hopefully in the future there will be a release of a Southern Pacific U25b model as I really look forward to seeing that. It is also great to see that there is another manufacturer in ho scale that is producing a U25b model, as the only other production company was Bowser Trains.

Hola quiero hacerles una consulta, tengo esta locomotora recién comprada nueva con esquema UP #628 y he notado que no desarrolla velocidad como otras locomotoras, es esto normal del modelo o debo corregir algunos cv´s? Anda perfecta pero cuando le subo la velocidad lo hace pero no llega a ir con una velocidad normal que deberia tener en alta.
Rockisland had Gp38-2 GT bought a lot of units at the end of Rockisland. The new Rockisland have Gp 38-2 with dynamic brakes which Rockisland didn't have on original units

Where are the heck are the GE C30-7 promised years ago?
The C30-7 which we announced in 2022 is in tooling now. Should have first samples later this summer.
