i personally prefer galeforce, because its giga buffed. its 60 ad and 40% attack speed in this mode, while i.e. is slightly nerfed. i dont know why they made it so strong. normally items get buffed or nerfed to have their total worth adjusted to 3000 gold, so all the items are more equal to each other. galeforce is already more than 3k gold and they buffed it by 10 AD and 25% attack speed or something crazy like that.

As a garen main i can say this much, any build that is not crit relies on perfect augment synergy
