3:48 The “premium wagyu beef” for ¥2500 is actually now ¥4000 and also was a huge disappointment, we couldn’t chew at all due to how tough the meat was and had to spit it out and we saw one other group did as well. The ¥1000 one (which is the one in the video) was decent though.
Thought I would point it out because most other recommendations on this channel have been good 👍

2.19 dollars for all that gyoza is amazingg!! 3.17 for the two pork buns is great as well! The tuna sushi was expensive though haha😅
Tuna sushi is expensive compared to other foods, but it's worth it because it's fatty tuna! ^^

I will be in Osaka in a few weeks. I love street food but as I'm allergic to most seafood my options are going to be quite limited. I'm not overly keen on pork either but beef is fine.
The beef sushi was delicious and we highly recommend it :)

I'm going in March (Osaka and Kyoto) and the language barrier is my biggest concern. I was told there are a lot of Korean tourists so they have some menus in Korean, but all the videos I see only show Japanese, no English either. AHH do I have to rely on Google Translate???

I'm not sure about vegan restaurants, but there's a new sumo entertainment show hall that just opened in Osaka. You can enjoy watching sumo while having a bento, and they offer vegan bento options as well. If you're interested, check out the video :)

Sorry, I don't speak Japanese but what can you say to the shop employees to ask them for what they recommend/the store's bestseller? Will they understand me if I say "Osusume wa nan desu ka?" Do you think they'll realise I'm not a Japanese native and try to reply in a mixture of English and pointing?
That's the right word! I'm sure the waiter will be able to give you some food recommendations. Or you could just use the Google Translate app and show the translation to the waiter :)
