Is it better to use the word “And instead of “But ? I hear you saying the double reflection and adding “But instead of And
"and" is usually better than "but" unless you are trying to make a point and just leave the double-sided out there. "You're telling me you don't think you are an alcoholic and that you have 7 DUIs. Can you tell me more about those two things?"
