Yes except the real Jews are Hebrews and got kicked out of the land at the fall of Jerusalem when God sent King Nebucanezzar King of Bablyon to destroy Jerusalem. They were scattered since then, But God promised to bring them back to the land which He Promised Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Promised Land was to Him and His descendants who were to receive the inheritance by faith. The land should not be referred to as The Holy Land.

One of favorite places to visit so much to in a small area, easy access to Petra, great night life, great swimming over the reef, the aquarium is a little dated but a great place to visit

For MANY Israelis , going on holiday to Eilat in the 70's and 80's was the closest thing they got to going abroad , because it was so magical and cheap flights were still in the future .These days , Eilat still holds its place in the Israeli psyche , and finding a parking space at or near the hotel/hostel of one's choice can be a real challenge during peak season .
My hotel of choice , is the King Solomon hotel , which is close to the Ice Mall , the Marina , and the city centre
I was last in Eilat in 1977. It sure looked different from this video! It was scruffier & less built-up. Also, I think there were just a few hotels. We stayed in a tent on the beach but used the nearby Sheraton for bathrooms! Looks like it’s all cement now! what a shame.

Israel surely has such a variety of places - it is amazing!
And it’s only 9,000 sq miles
in a single day , you could ski on Mount Hermon and drive/fly to Eilat for a quick sunbathe, before dining at one of the many eateries that line the promenade !!
