I could imagine Ariana doing an album with this specific sound, and honestly would love RnB to come back to this sound again. This mashup makes the song feel warmer than the original.

@@Estelle738l Not really, it's clearly way more RnB. The song is only slightly jazzy in parts including bass and maybe the synths, but the majority of it is RnB/Funk influence (aka sample from "Papa Don't Take No Mess" from James Brown" and Honey Dripper's classic drum beat). It even won a Grammy for Best RnB song for that year. But I see where you're at.
I love the old school vibe of this...
