- Aurora was nominated for 2 awards for Spellemannprisen 2015: "Newcomer of the Year" and "Song of the Year" with "Running With The Wolves". The award ceremony was held on Saturday January 30th 2016 in "Oslo Spektrum".
She did a brief interview on January 5th 2016 in Hotel Bristol - Oslo after the nominations was announced.
At the award show on January 30th 2016 she won "Newcomer of the Year" which came with a "Gramo" scholarship of 250,000 NOK (~$25,000). The award was presented to her by "Karpe Diem" a Norwegian rap duo.
She did not win "Song of the Year", it was won by "Kygo" (EDM music) with "Stole the Show" (feat. Parson James)". Kygo is also from the Bergen area like Aurora.
The "Song of the Year" section of the show is not included in this video, since Aurora was not shown, only a brief clip from the Running With The Wolves music video.
Aurora also did a short interview after the show which is included, and then she presented 2 awards herself which is included in the end of the video, first in the Classical music category and then in the "Tonos" Composer category together with "Odd Nordstoga" (musician / singer / composer).

I used Open AI - Whisper openai.com/blog/whisper/
to transcribe speech (Norwegian) to text (Norwegian) and then used Google Translate to translate the text to English.
Finally I went through manually and corrected mistakes in the transcribing and translation.

No problem :) Yeah apparently "Odd" is a fairly common name in Norway, or at least not that uncommon.

@@Tarkus_ heh 10-15 years ago there was a Norwegian named "Odd" in the news for finding the new biggest prime number, which was also odd 🙂
