In today's video, I'm building a house for a gardener, using the latest kits, The Sims 4 Greenhouse Haven Kit and The Simsww 4 Basement Treasures Kit!

I remember in some video you saying you used to hate landscaping and now you like it. You better do because it just looks amazing. The details you put into your builds, especially the landscaping, make it look so cozy, realistic and I just want to go there in real life!

I LOVE when you build smaller homes. You do it so little that’s it’s such a treat! Majority of my save file is single parents or one to two person families.
I absolutely love this build. It's so cluttered in a good way. Lived-in and cozy. I love the garden and landscaping. This is one of my favorite builds.

I love this build! So quaint and pretty. And would definitely love to see more single sim / small household builds. I personally find massive hours and families a bit overwhelming to play, and prefer smaller lots and households.

Other than apartments/campers/"starter homes" (which I'm not counting), "Grandma's Cottage", "Modern Bachelor Pad", and "Mid Century Tiny House" are a few houses I found that you made for one Sim. (But these were 2-3 years ago).
It's a great build as always, and it feels very different from your other builds with all the dark colors and the small scale. Loved the way you did the garden, plus the weird creative stuff you make up (such as the cat litter shovel thingy, that was so fun!)
i use the landline phone from basement treasures so much- i was so excited when you said it was your favorite because me too!!

Yes! I do wish they were hang-on wall land lines or table top land lines for the older sims!
I'm surprised you didn't use the new glass roof that we got with the kit. I love the new windows because they have those screen swatches as well as the regular glass windows. I'm definitely making some porches using those soon.
I just preferred the base game one! (Also didn’t realise we had one until I finished the build 🤣😅)

you are genuinely one of the most talented sims builders i’ve ever seen!! the thing you were talking about at 10:30 ish is called a trellis! the additions of the arches as trellises is so creative omg- i grew up and live in a house and garden similar to this one with absolute loads of plants and seeing something similar made me so happy

I don't play as a single sim in my game. It's always families so I always build or download family homes. Having said that it is lovely to see you build a house of one or two sims. It does inspire me to play with a couple. It would be lovely to see more smaller houses.

This build is absolutely beautiful!! I'm obsessed with the landscaping & the little gardening area!!
As a side note, I don't know if you know this already & if you do feel free to just ignore this - but I know you use the gravity pull feature of TOOL a lot & I've always noticed how yours keeps changing the height of objects when you pull them, which I've noticed in my game too & it always annoyed me & made my job so much harder - but you cam actually go into the Settings on TOOL & there's an option about "snap to terrain" or something, if you uncheck that, the objects will stay at the height that you've placed it at when you pull it! That was such a game changer for me when I discovered it! Now I just pull the objects where I want them, & then just elevate them to the proper height if I need to!

I use that debug dock all the time! I usually build a floor piece and use the stilt foundation and the floor window thingy from Island Living... it makes it nearly invisible...
Im so mixed with emotions when you put out a new video! 😅 like, im so excited and then its over and I have to wait for a new one!!! 😅😅

Beautiful house, cant wait to put it in my game! But can I ask, why do you keep putting the sports flask drink/tall lamps on desks while placing clutter on there? After downloading all my builds from the gallery pretty much since the released of sims 4 I'm finally starting to learn to build my own homes lol

"Pillows may be skewwhiff" That was not a word I was expecting to hear on CZcams! It is kind of funny hearing someone with your accent building a gardener's dream home as I would guess that you're from a very densely populated part of the UK so you may not have ever had a garden. Not judging, it's very much a description that fits me too, my dad would have loved to have had a garden, but alas we could never afford that kind of house in our area (and to give you a clue about where that is, the football fans around me tended to be Crystal Palace, Arsenal and West Ham fans with a few Spurs ones in there. Chelsea sucked when I was growing up so there weren't many fans of them). I think my dad would have loved to have retired to your build if it had been real! It's a lovely bit of building
I'm completely with you on wanting the houses to feel like they are part of a single neighbourhood, I wonder if that would actually be something that the SIms could enforce? I saw Deligracy make a house for that little neighbourhood in Willow Creek with Crick Cabana and Daisy Hovel, and while the interior was amazing, it bothered me that the house felt like it was from somewhere else. It would be interesting if some neighbourhoods limited you to certain design conditions like only a limited set of exterior and window options so they felt more coherent.
On the tomato sign thing - the people I know who do have gardens will use seed packets for exactly that kind of thing to remind themselves what they have planted and where. I think some seed packets may even come with something to stick in the soil for that reason.
The thing with making a house for download, though, is that they can be placed in every neighborhood. I doubt Deligracy made it to be used on just that lot in Willow Creek. So there's no need to stick to the theme of the neighborhood.
@@plumdutchess But then it stops being a lot renovation which is what it was labelled as. I partly agree, but I feel like the Sims 4 should have a build mode with a blank lot so you can build things completely in isolation. Deli's build would make sense there, or as part of a save file, but positioned in the world as it was, it was an odd distraction.
It's not a criticism of Deli, just a difference in mentality, as I said, it was a great build, it's just there was nowhere for me to use it
