A-10's working with dutch FAC in simulated attack near Deelen Air Force Base The Netherlands

This clip is a sound recording of a actual two ship Spangdahlem A-10's working with a Dutch FAC (Forward Air Controller). You can hear that the realism that in this simulation is amazingly real, you can hear on the actual FAC voice that it's a tigh situation he's in. Fortunately for him two A-10 Warthog's are there to give support.
This type of situation is daily the case in Afghanistan and many other wars before. First real FAC work was done back in the Vietnam war. O-2 Birddog planes flew for hours and hours while directing F-4D and F-105 to the enemy.
