How to do the Basic Cha Cha:
Step 1: Watch this video lesson
Step 2: Follow the 5 steps in this video lesson
Step 3: Practice a whole bunch of times
Step 4: Check that you're doing it correctly and on time.
Step 5: Dance with someone you like.
Step 6: Pick a song that moves you... so much, you have to dance to it.

@@DanceInsanity it is probably more like a performance task type of exam. Instead of written, we display a performance. Most particular subject to demand of this is PE.

Seriously, this is actually the best cha cha lesson for me. Most appreciated is " Hold the One, and Step #4 Stroke The Floor." (Stand On Paper). I also like the taped floor, foot diagram.

About fifteen years ago, I noticed a young couple doing cha cha per your instruction, and I was in awe. My wife and I took refresher course, but my teacher did not give all details as you did in the clip above. Thanks. BTW, I still do muaythai.
