  • A journey around some towns and villages in North Wales UK
It is not too far from home to the countryside, we take a little tour through some coast road towns before turning off into the hills.
music applied due to extreme wind noise as camera externally mounted.
Wasn't going to make public as camera on slant but some folks like a drive about video so setting it to public now.

Thanks Maria, I seem to be a bit up and down but far better than jan/feb. I’m not a pro but I do my best haha, glad someone enjoys my videos. I’m amazed so many people have subscribed to watch. I think some folks like to see places they know and some like to see new places they may not normally see. When I started filming there were almost no videos of Flintshire .
I film most places I go now but this year so far I haven’t been anywhere really as been poorly but hopefully get out a bit more soon when not in work.

Man I miss the UK. Been obsessed since a kid watching Keeping Up Appearances, Are You Being Served, and East Enders. Greetings from Minnesota in the US. Can’t wait to get back for the third time!

Thanks Man some great places in the UK to visit London is where the action is but I find it too harsh, Liverpool is a friendly City and hell its the Beatles home :D , Manchester great for music/shows and stores, Chester has a lot of history and is a nice smaller City, York - you gotta do the museums, castle museum great - railway museum HUGE and FREE!!, Wales full of hills, moors (stick to the road ;) ) and valleys and a LOT of Castles, like real Robin hood stuff :) then you have Scotland - Edinburgh for the culture side and the Northern Highlands (west coast better) absolutely stunningly beautiful though you may be spoiled by beautiful Minnesota :)

That external mount of yours seems to have a mind of its own. It refuses to stay level, leans back as you speed up, seems to lean sideways a bit when cornering, weird ! I assume this one is recent, which means you are feeling enough recovered to drive again, which is good. This vide was tantilising ! So close, yet so far, as it came towards the last few minutes and the right hand turn signposted 'Pantymwyn 1.5' came into shot (around 56:35). given Pantymwyn was 'home' for 10 or so years right before I moved down here to the south coast. :)

Ah, North East Wales! totally ignored and forgotten about, with it's employment up's and down's, it's still an ok place(never stopped only driven through), but I personally do not feel good about the Dee Estuary, (it feels funny to me?) with its heavily controlled road network, (Thank you Heddlu, for being over zealous? at least in its signs?), and its totally daft roads on the estuary, 50, 40, 30, 20?, on some dual carriageways too, why not all estuary roads DC's?, Heddlu do not want you to go any faster at all, on the roads as they are, (so improve them), it's painful to get around when you want, outstanding driving vid through obscure places, Love the trees.

I try and capture these places because no one else seems to be doing it or at least weren’t. I kind of hope that maybe one day these will be looked back upon and folks may say wow look how it used to be….maybe :) I do film in known places too but not many people in Italy are likely to have heard of Connahs Quay lol.

Haha its an action camera stuck on a pole and I think as I have it raised high it eggaerates the car motion due to the height as the pole itself is pretty rigid. This was the first decent journey that I had done in the car since December last year and it was wonderful to get out again. Covid has left me with some cfs symptoms that have been seriously knocking me about so it's nice to get out. I did a walk through my local town a couple of days ago, only a 10 min walk really normally but took me a while and I was KOd after it, talking maybe half a mile if that. Crazy, although fat I can easily normally walk 5 miles without even noticing. My miniscule plod knocked me out the next day from 12-5pm (next day tiredness typical of bloody cfs) - I wish it would bugger off as I want to get back to walking and boring you guys to death :D
As for Pantymwyn I left the camera on for the whole run but the battery died at that point :( may try 2k on next run as 4k chimps the power and takes a week to process. I was just leaving this on private but thought no, some. People may enjoy a run through these lovely little villages as I certainly did so uploaded it.
I only have a few scrappy files atm to upload so wasn't going to bother but again may interest someone local perhaps so may stick them up. I'll try and get up to Pantymwyn for you too :) - I doubt I could leave North Wales, I adore it here
