  • In 2018, Nuffield scholar and mob grazing farmer, Tom Chapman, spoke at our Future Farming Scotland event about his experiences of mob grazing. Tom has been practicing mob grazing for over 10 years, and has studied the practice in action around the world, including on livestock farms in North and South America and Canada.
    In this presentation, Tom shares his history and experiences of mob grazing, what inspired him to start doing it, and the challenges and successes he has faced using it on his farm.

    Dung beetles don’t do well whenever animals are treated for parasites because the dung still possess the insecticide and deters insects from breaking it down…except for flies.
