Currently in Ontario and looking westwards due to the astronomical cost of owning a property here. Saw a few apartments in Edmonton listed for as low as $50,000. How are apartments this cheap in Edmonton?
There may be issues with the building. Or it may be in a bad area. However there are some awesome condo deals in great neighborhoods here. Oliver ,Old strath,Gaurneau ,parkallen,Westmont ,etc

U of A is one of the best universities in North America. My kids are a bit young still. My oldest is planning to go there and I’ve had friends and family go there!

Great area!
Hi the weather in Canada can be too expensive and the extremely dangerous situation the snowstorm and in general snowstorm who can live there too expensive and not afford to live there. The experience can kill you. Why is it too expensive in Edmonton Canada. Well ok. Has to be safe community and have shod and values to live in. What’s the difference between Calgary and Edmonton. What’s the time difference and the population growth. ? The weather outside can be very dangerous chances of moving to Canada. It’s the families that make any difference.
What about the Airport and to fly. The values for money and get a job

Damn! The nice suburb she mentioned has some beautiful homes under $400K. I could dump my partner, sell our house in Ontario & move to Edmonton and live Mortgage free. I’d go work at Costco for my weed money.

Stay out of Eastwood if you have the money to live anywhere else in the city.
