Used to go to Pevensey Bay when i was a child, in the early 50's. Thanks for bringing back some memories at 68 years of age.... can still smell the brime !! I wonder if the old pill towers are still around, big round towers dating back to the Napolionic wars... yes, a long time passing !
Hmmmmm, I wonder as you are a Yorkshire man who has moved to Cornwall, just how much you miss those Cornish shores? As someone who lives not far from here, I dream of my next trek along the Cornish coast path with no views of breakwaters and secluded beaches like the Molunans ;) I do hope you are where you want to be for Christmas, because whilst Pevensy is always worth a visit (if you haven't seen it before), I know where I am dreaming of and I bet it's the same for you! ;)
