I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living in Cebu City, Philippines. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my CZcams Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club President and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
I enjoy watching videos especially singing performances and react to them.
I keep my reactions real and natural.
Siti is queen and this song is really hard thus this cover by Aina Abdul deserves praise! 🙌🏼 my respect to Aina and ofcourse queen Siti.

Yeah truly a difficult song with lots of low, very low and high, very high notes everywhere.... and yet CT managed to pull through it effortlessly.Well, nobody can sing like CT yet, smoothly and melancholicly even when hitting the high notes.Everyone knows CT's trademark when hitting the high notes, she's so gifted and blessed.I've seen other singers, be it celebrities and commoners trying hard to carry this song, well, and yes some nearly hit it & some got it but when they sing, their facial expressions are showing that they're struggling, as if they're trying so very hard in order to achieve the same result like CT.Anyways, to me Aina made it and she did it her owñ way.... and I believe one day she will shine through it. For this cover, her version is too powerful. If you understand the lyrics and how emotional it can be, then Dato Siti version is the best.
