It would take me about 12 seconds to wrap that thing around the nearest tree.
Literally laughed out loud! You're probably not the only one thinking that, but you came right out and said it
But you are dead already so it doesn't matter
I’ll do it in 10.
Small frontal area + large mass= go through said tree.
@@ort8410 i would do it in less than ten. I live my life a quarter mile at a time.

I was out for a ride on my Suzuki Intruder and came up behind 4 bikes. One of them sounded "different". About the same moment I realized it was the growl of a V8 and had tires too wide for a regular motorcycle. Big respect for the Boss Hoss.
Damn
Also nice lol, I ride an intruder aswell, the 800cc one
Yeah man, when I first heard a Boss Hoss it was scary! The sound of an American push rod V8 is one of the most menacing, and beautiful sounds in the history of engines. The deep rumble of a muscle car coming from a Boss Hoss is just terrifying.
The difference between the old Boss Hoss and new Boss Hoss bikes is astonishing.
I have seen a few of the old ones and they all looked very large and hard to handle.
The new one you drove looked like a real motorcycle and a great evolution of the brand.
I am glad Boss Hoss still makes their bike because what you said is true.
In the horsepower heap, there is Boss Hoss and then there is everyone else.
And Boss Hoss is American made.
May they always shake the ground in America.
Being American made is actually a downside. American products suck.
Yeah it's really exciting and I really hope that Boss Hoss is established as a permanent brand, because they are on the verge of being a premium motorcycle brand. Their quality and fit and finish is outstanding.
Saying a prayer before your ride has never been more appropriate.
Yep, just walking out to the garage and staring at it, gave me a compound fracture to my right femur, 3 broken ribs and blood in my stool. {0.o}
🤣🙏
After, also
@@MAGGOT_VOMIT an after it probably looks like you were puking up maggot vomit and shitting blood ? You were just that close pal of being a ghost .. you ever look up and see who it was that was the first one to ever put a small block Chevy in a motorcycle frame and basically he built a front section and a rear section and bolted it on the Chevy sideways and has some kind of direct drive to the rear wheel no radiator and just poured water in the motor down then as it boiled it out ... I used to have a black and white picture of him back in the late 50s maybe early 60s with a 283 Chevy out of a old junk car or some kind there was no pain already it was just all rusty welded up steel laying around the farm and the engine was all dirty and greasy and Rusty looking .... Gas tank look like it came off of rototiller... And I'm not sure if it was the same guy who later on was going to drag races with a 327 Corvette engine and a motorcycle frame with fuel injection and it ended up down the woods somewhere when they found him knocked out and9 the motorcycle still running on the side sucking leaves into the fuel injection stacks.. as far as I know they still drag race V8 motorcycles in American Motorcycle racing association
There's the proof the lord exists, he came back in one piece 😇
The torque lean when revving it is enough to scare off anyone that realizes what is causing that.
What a monster. Very cool!
Like old school muscle cars 🤤
What's torque lean?
@@Misterfreezeable the engine is mounted longitudinally. So when it revs suddenly, the heavy parts inside like the crankshaft etc will move very fast. Now because of inertia, they'll want to stay where they are as much as they can, and so, will instead try to spin the whole bike the opposite direction.
An example of something similar would be...when you take a hand drill in your hand and hold it loosely, then press the trigger, the whole drill will yank the opposite direction of its spinning tip assembly.
@@TakumisBizarreRacingAdventure Damn good explanation.
my triumph rocket 3 (2300cc) does this too. couldn't imagine what a big block feels like 😂

"the transmission is made for much much much more horsepower" they knew the turbo's we're coming.
It was only made simple. One planetary. (It's very close to a powerglide). The input gears are less than 4" across lmao
@@Michigander79 One other thing is the "twin supercharger" he mentioned. WHAT?? Never seen a twin roots supercharger in person, not on a bike either.
Also maybe its centrifugal and then roots? Sounds like a load of bologna to me, dude seems to have a bad clickbait and embellishment tendency.
And it being a powerglide makes sense.
@@insurgentlowcash7564 Twin superchargers are definitely a thing, not very common though. They were offered as an aftermarket upgrade on some early 90s jaguars, and some people put twin prochargers on some of the really fast promod cars, although twin turbos are much more common.

Great vid, thanks for the ride along. Love this machine, especially that auto trans and the fact that the zorst is not stupid loud. Kudos to the Boss Hoss engineers.
You know the coolest thing about the Boss Hoss? It's that you can run it at 1300 rpms and go 80mph. Realistically the engine has enough power to do a high idle at highway speeds. Just imagine how long the engine would last, almost zero engine wear. I'd have them build mine with the tallest gears you can possibly get, so the engine is just creeping along at 80mph.
I had a smile on my face the whole time watching this. It’s Such a cool bike! I Love that you love it haha
Love your videos. I ride a 2015 ultra limited low with the tire shredder kit. Its not at all unmanageable. Dyno has me at 103 HP and 123 ft lbs of torque. I'd love more power. But it is very much a daily rider as it sits now. Please keep up the great work.
Boss Hoss motorcycles are a very cool approach to building bikes. I like the idea of using car parts to build a bike. Love the V8 sound.
PLEASE ROLL UP ON OTHER BIKERS FOR THEIR REACTIONS!! It would be awesome 🤣🤣

@@42WasTheAnswer pretty sure it’s because of the camera. If you record a pc monitor it will do the same thing
It does not flicker like that in 'real life' It's messing up because the display is LED and it pulses out of sync of the cameras framerate. Sometimes you see modern car tail lights flicker in videos for this exact reason.
@@42WasTheAnswer it's not actually flickering dude. Have you ever seen a crt in slow motion? Same concept.

Crazy bike. Fantastic to see what they have done.
The brutal power and mass of these machines is attractive. The steering head bearings must be under a lot of stress. And the forks. Springs. Amazing.

I watch motorcycle videos almost daily and this was one of the most entertaining and interesting video’s to date. Also it’s been said but anyone who doesn’t understand why the bike leans when revving, take it from those who know.. it’s a monster
Definitely would like to see a drag race against a 1000cc street bike. Either from a full stop or a rolling start
Years ago a friend (he's like my second dad) had a Yamaha XS1100 bored out to 1324cc (I’m pretty sure that's right) and turbo charged that put out 300 HP. I drove it once and was eager to get back on my "slow" Nighthawk S 700. It was like being on the bridge of the Enterprise when Kirk or Picard gave the order for warp speed. Running about 75 in top gear I gently rolled the throttle open and in less than 3 seconds I'm going 150 easy. So, if that's what 300 HP on a motorcycle is like, I can't imagine 600HP.
Wow, I had no idea an XS1100 had that much durability to handle 300 horsepower!? That's really amazing. I always figured those engines were not particularly good, since the older Yamaha bikes always seemed to have the worst fit and finish to the clutch, and overall design of the bike, compared with the other big 3. But the Yamaha motors were always good, being Japanese.
@@Ritalie That particular XS1100 likely had extensive mods beyond the turbo. As I said in my OP it was bored to a larger displacement, I can only assume there was more done. The front was raked (pretty sure that's the right word) out for better high speed stability. That friend's name is Bill, he always had very nice collector grade vehicles. He also had a Sturgis and a '73 Sportster he let me drive. The Sportster was especially "fun" as it had no throttle return spring.
Bill has 4 sons. The oldest, Terry, raced Ducatis but at some point bought a XS1100 with a turbo. I'm pretty sure it was bone stock with the turbo added. The one time I road on it with him we were going so fast the wind blast was pulling me off the bike. When he let off the throttle my interlocked grip around him was down to my finger tips. I honestly thought I was going to come off that bike. I have no idea the speed we reached. I told that story to Bill who replied with 8 words I would hear many more times regarding Terry's XS1100 turbo, "Where are you going to ride a rocket?" Hearing him say that as many times as I did, I heard it a LOT, made it that much funnier when he showed me his XS1100 turbo that was faster than Terry's. And yes, the first words out of my mouth were, "Bill, where are you going to ride a rocket?" To which he could only laugh with a knowing look on his face. He is quite the character.
"don't ask me how I know that" got the like! Haha keep it up man!
While watching the video I thought you were doing alright until I saw all of the cars passing you on the entrance ramp to the expressway! Then I realized you were afraid of the bike. I have a 2003 Boss Hoss 502 Big Block that I bought in 2006. It’s an incredible machine. The Avon tires handle very well and you can trust them to hold the bike fine in curves & expressway on-ramps. I really hate reading so many comments from so many people that have no clue what they’re talking about.
Now that is a great beginner bike
Lmao

Nice monster bike and great handling 👌🏽
WOW you have a lot going on man !!! I'm out best wishes 👍🏾
Wow. Love it. And appreciate the scripture.
Same here. Thanks for the Word!
I don't know if I should make this constructive criticism or just a helpful tip, but if you can change the shutter speed of the cameras you use, you can completely eliminate screen/LED flicker, because if you "match the frames", the camera will see everything on the screen at once, and depending on the screen, it could be 1/24 of a sec for car lights or dashboards (24hz), it can be 30hz, or 60hz. if you use gopros, GoPro has ProTune which allows you to change the ISO, exposure time, and shutter speed. hope this helps!
Pretty he blurred it on purpose so the actual speed didn't show up for legal purposes.

Yea right . Get any modern 1000 CC Supersport next to that Big Block V8 and the Hoss ist crushed in every discipline.
Still a cool Bike tho
H2R would crush the Boss Hoss, a novelty bike at best.
Nah it won't crush it. U just can't put the power down with the tire thats on it. Don't kid yourselves the big block bikes boss hoss makes are unreal. Ive ridden one. They are scary, can spin tire at 80mph Buddys father also has one with a 450hp sbc 383 that one i custom painted years ago and rode several times. It was a the the world of wheels in Chicago last year. And I've owned a zx14 and many other liter bikes mostly hondas, turbo vrod, ebr 1190sx. Lots of powerful bikes, boss hoss is a powerful torquey motor just pushing itself along. Traction is the only issue. That 600hp big block is fast in a 3500lb car let alone a 1300lb bike. Its it a novelty bike yes, but they do handle and stop amazingly well for its size. If u get a chance to ride one you won't forget it. Its actually quite an engineering marvel to make a 1300lbs V8 comfortably rideable.
Set a guy who's never written one. Like the other guy said you just can't get the power to the ground. You could spin the tires at 100 miles an hour on this bike. Believe me it's really crazy turn on 1000 with a couple hundred horsepower.
