- Static rope for contact poi is amazing, but you have to be careful when cutting it, as it can fray.

- tape
- a sharp knife
- cutting board or surface
- a lighter
- some patience

This was definitely helpful. I don't understand how some companies make them absolutely perfect length. I put so much effort in and they're always .25-.5 inches off 🤣

When you were measuring against your arm, it would have been nice to see your hand/wrist and how you were holding the knob. Also, was your wrist straight or bent?
Good point! Hard to pay attention to all the details when I'm on both sides of the camera. My wrist was bent at a comfortable spinning angle, about 45 degrees. Hope that helps!
Do you NEED to melt the end? I'm terrified of fire - even a candle.

can you do this with other poi like ultra poi?
Sorry but I'm not sure how that company makes their poi. We make ours modular, adjustable and are in tune w/ the poi community needs and developments at large, as we're all spinners and flow artists here.
