Great haul! Daryl is a very fun release. Always thought it was sad how the main boy had to escape a Scientology compound two times. I think it kind of messed him up as an adult. The VSU packaging is always top tier.
Can’t wait to have you on my podcast Boutique Talk to talk some Fantastic Planet. I’d never seen it before this week and man there is a lot to dig into.
Great video DJ. I picked up The Other French New Wave vol. 1 as Part of my Haul as well, and it is truly excellent. The price tag was very low for such an awesome anthology, and I wasn't expecting each film to be introduced by a short.
DARYL is awesome! First saw that movie when I was a kid in the 80s. Loved it. Recently re-watched it and it is still so good. It has held up well. Your kids will love it, but I think they may still be a bit too young for it.

Bennys Bathtub - Very cool animation. I would classify this as an adult cartoon honestly. Danish language with subtitles but didn’t take away from enjoying the amazing animation.
There is a mix of real photography and animation mixed in. Fun score. Funny to see Woody Woodpecker make an appearance.
Ok the octopus song was great very 60s jazzy kind of sound but the trippy animation during the octopus song was amazing.
cool to see this animation shark in this who was menacing.
Again love the animation colors in this.
There is topless mermaids warning on the Blu-ray description lol.
Watched the Def Crocodile Blu-ray amazing HD restoration from the OCN (chapter 5 on the disc will be on repeat).

Absolutely LOVED this video. I loved your enthusiasm and willing to explore things that you and a good portion of your audience (including me) know very little or nothing about. I remember liking D.A.R.Y.L. very much, mostly to Barrett Oliver, who was the main actor in the original THE NEVERENDING STORY, perhaps my second favorite family film after THE WIZARD OF OZ. You picked up so many interesting films that I am completely unaware of. Thanks for sharing your passion and inspiring all of us to explore films in a similar light on our own cinematic journey.

I normally don't collect boutique labels because they are expensive even on sale like arrow video and criterion's some are cheaper my budget is $19.99 and below i'm mostly a bargain hunter... In my area in Reno NV I go to Recycled Records, Grassroots Books, & Goodwill mostly because they are all great stores in their own way... I used to like Grassroots Books they had a ton of Blu-rays like Criterion's & Arrow Video releases not all the releases just a few of them... They had a ton of DVD's as well but even more books... But they got rid of a whole book shelf of blu-rays so no more Criterion's & Arrow video releases. They only have one big medal shelf of blu-rays by the check out area... It's a shame... They only kept all their DVD's... Physical Media just doesn't sell in my area...
DARYL is great, if you are a fan of family films it will definitely do the trick.
Benny’s Bathtub is way too slight to be considered a film. Glad you got it for $10, because I was not too impressed by it considering I paid $20.
I like The Tune, plus the bonus shorts are great.
I was not a fan of The Peanut Butter Solution from the Severin Kids line. They market it as if it is some incredible Lynchian kids film. When in reality it is just kinda low budget and with some dirty humor. It is ok, but not what I was expecting.
