@@theblindperspective23 Great, thanks for the info. Did you book through Princess or on your own. We always go through Princess for the security that they guarantee we get back to the ship on time. Sounds like you enjoyed this company. We are doing the reverse of what you did: land portion first and then sea. We are going end of August. It will be our third trip to Alaska but never have gone whale watching. Would be interested in your input as to booking. Love your videos. Videos great, descriptions on point and I have enjoyed watching them. Thanks in advance.
So we actually booked at the port. Honestly the guy gave us a deal cuz if you ask they will sometimes give a deal especially if they have a trip going soon and need to fill the boat. We took like a 1:00 I think so it being later in the day maybe helped us be able to get a deal. I think we asked them as we were coming back to the shop at like 11:30 and he was like sure. We had 4 of us going so that could have helped also cuz it was 4 spots filled and it was the last 4 on that trip. I am so glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you have a good trip. Honestly since you are going on that end of season they might be more willing to work a deal but even booking with princess is not bad cuz I think the company was really good. We saw a lot of whales.
Whats the name of the hotel you stayed at in Vancoouver? is it reasonably/decently priced ?
Carmana and it was in a good location. Right across from a grocery store that had a Starbucks and a buffet. It was a great place to stay and we split the room so it was a good price
