You’ve got this, you’re a Mythical Beast! I have a very close family member who went through a similar situation, and she’s the strongest person I know. She kicked and now she runs a fellowship program at a big college and she’s the happiest and healthiest she’s ever been. I have never been more proud of a person. You can absolutely get through this. It is so worth it. Get rid of all the people in your life feeding into the addiction and keep the ones who support your getting better. Your real friends are the ones you might be pissed at right now, the ones telling you truth, who want you to live and be free from this. Your support system is important.
