These are neat. Nice "turn key" solutions that are especially great for those that don't have the time, talent and/or tools to DIY.
On price; I don't know if these could be less inexpensively made/sold commercially, given the total production costs and limited runs for a niche market. Hats off to these folks for bringing these to market.

This is a great review. I think it would make a great project and fun for a family competition for winters, rainy days, etc. The kids can have fun and put down their video games for a while. There are some good 1/24 scale crawlers out there for less than $100. I think this kind of obstacle course could produce some good family laughs. They might be able use their own creativity to add their own obstacles out of old boxes.

If you add up on these, you end up spending the same as a really high end rc like Boom Racing BRX 01 or 02.. Minus is that it does not offer especially realistic “tarmac” for your scale crawler + scary time consuming assembly.. Nah.. find som logs and some scrap wood and make your own..
