I just hope Pizza Tower gets nominated for Game of the year at this year's Game Awards so we get to hear the whole orchestra team playing this song.

I like how clever the title of this track is. At the beginning of “It’s Pizza Time”, the escape theme for almost every other level, there’s someone saying “hello there”. This track, which plays over the game’s final escape sequence, is therefore called “Bye Bye There”. 😝
The escape song in most levels is intense, scary and if I were to put it in words it would go like this
Pizza time: GET OUT!! you only have so much time left!
Bye bye there: cmon you got this! You're almost done! Just one more final stretch!

The way he's able to match the rhythm of songs he's never heard before so fast is also impressive.

Having this victory lap of escaping the tower after the insanity that was the final boss was just so gratifying. Having the game concluding after 5 years of development was a feeling like nothing else.

I can’t stress enough how good the entire soundtrack is for this game. I find myself still singing the menu music, pause music, and especially this final banger. The perfect song to pick up your friends on your way out of a crumbling tower to.

I remember reading on the wiki that Peppino’s canonical top speed is Mach 15. Peppino doesn’t just break the sound barrier, he shatters it into tiny pizza-shaped pieces

Yeah. I think both the music and gameplay sell it tho. It's honestly damn near perfect how they blended Wario Land 4 and classic Sonic. And the music perfectly fits both the wackiness of WL4 and the hype and speed of Sonic.

Love this drum cover, Jerod! Amazing as always. This song is amongst my favourites, cuz it really shows two sides - yours (Your mission is done and you need to escape), and the Tower's, as it attempts to ATLEAST bring you down with it, by throwing all of the troops and forces, while you escape. Really fits the mood, also the bits of the Pizza Time also spices up the song.

ngl at first i was kinda disappointed with bye bye there being the final escape theme, because i thought it should've been way more epic, but it grew on me because it shows that peppino finally triumphed
if it helps, its more laid back because this isn’t a daring escape from the pizza tower, this is peppino’s victory lap. he has triumphed over everything the tower and pizzahead had to offer, and the bosses follow him out, knowing that if anyone, he is getting out of there
