    I think the first hand his turn size is a bit of a tell. It’s emotional, sizing up because he wants the fold right now. Then the river is an oh shit I’m all in moment.

    😮 +10 bb / 100! AQ hero call vs 4 liner in a 4b pot. That wolf is tuned in and knows their villain. Jelly and inspired! LFG! 😂

    This is as simple as villain is representing very few combos of value vs exponential bluffs, villian butchered this ratio so badly on this run out exactly that this would be a pretty easy call for most competent heros at these stakes. Not to say it wasnt stil an impressive call down. But that river card made this much easier then 90% of the deck. Only real value villian can have is slow played set of tens, but that feels incredibly thin. AQ well played hand by hero.

      @@ChasingPokerGreatness So you post an 86k hand sample that was played over 8 months (10k hands a month, I know live players that put more volume than that) from 2 years ago...posted in BB and not dollar amount (maybe the hands were played at 25nl? 2nl?? who knows). You might as well have posted some squiggly drawn lines on paint.

    Hand 2 is prob the more interesting , bet check bet lines are one the most over bluffed lines in poker, but thats more true for srp and 3b pots to lesser extent, rarely see it in 4 bet pots. But in this exact spot, what is villian repping?? AK only? Why would any good reg not want to get more value with their made hands? This is almost the reverse of hand one, hero is repping such a thin value range 1010 must be printing in this spot as a call especially with how insanely out of line hero is in this spot and must be with his entire game.

    • @ChasingPokerGreatness
      @ChasingPokerGreatness  Před měsícem

      @@Alexandertygreat hard to discern with limited data set hero is 4betting at a ridiculous clip in this exact spot.
      Generally speaking, A and K high boards are quite nice for the IP 4B and (due to the Turn SPR), it isn’t wild to imagine hero can retain top end value w their turn check.

    Could be a bit off, but pretty sure Tx+ is fine to play like this as BB. If he's not then easy to overbluff. If he is, it's still close
    Hand two, dislike the 4b when the bb is non full stack(assume this is on iggy) - def a stretch even if vs reg

    At 4:10 the “wolf” 4b it to $265 practically a min click from $130, and you say it’s a little bit big….. 🤔

    • @ChasingPokerGreatness
      @ChasingPokerGreatness  Před 26 dny

      generally speaking, 4bs at 100 bbs are around 21-25 bbs... in this case, a pure click would have been 24.5 bbs which is what I'd prefer to see.
      these small details matter quite a bit.

    the more i look at the first hand its possible villain only has bluffs because of the 3 bet and after listening to your commentary realistically vill never has suited gappers so. ak, aqd, ajd, kqd ,kjd, a5s and i don't think ak playing this way I also don't think diamonds play this way but against diamond bluff +a5 and tts you have 27.5 % adding 1 combo of kjc bring the % to 34.09% assuming the only nuts is tt and he's not bluffing ak,99,88 if has 6 combos of ak (w/o a diamond) 99,88 AQ has 13.64%. if you add all combos of aa kk AQ has10%

    So we're just going to let the Q3s 4bet get a pass? Ok, you acknowledged 4b is better than calling, but isn't it still just spew? I can't imagine CPG coaching is encouraging this.

      We are not but we do encourage critical thinking and allow the wolves freedom to make what they feel is best decision in the moment (taking all meta and data reads into consideration).

    How the fuck do you think AQ is a call on river here lol how convenient it was a bluff what a shocker. At your local casino it’s not that.

      luckily the hand wasn't played in a local casino. i suspect that, if it were, the hand would have been played quite differently.

    first hand is weird what bluffs? you lose to ak a5 ,beat kq, jk lose to all nuts tt, 87,76,65,54 dude called kjs oop to a 4b probably has 44 66 33 55 77, so really 22,88,99 as a bluff or turning top pair into bluff? whats heroes thought process. f it call? my bad 22 is a str8 you beat 8 combos of bluff unless likes super fish. he's not shoving AT its a 4 bet pot on this board villian wants hero to have jj+ 24combos ak is 16 does villain think at is a shove
