    With an LLC and the proper insurance you can get Direct orders from anywhere like Lowe’s Home Depot, many other companies but it do come with a price tag and a bigger headache

    Man, you're really grinding out here on these Texas streets. When your authority/Mic kicks in, you gonna can go over the road and drive more and work less. No touch freight 😂

    Hey love the content. Have a question for you. I’m just starting out and looking on purchasing a van. Should I bite the bullet and just start with a high roof or would a medium roof work for most of deliveries

      I always recommend bigger is always better if you can afford it. You can always upgrade later like I did.

    Congrats on the direct customer if I was you I’ll learn how to install you can make an extra 150-200 for install homie don’t leave that money on the table

    • @BigCJCargoVan
      @BigCJCargoVan Před 24 dny

      Great tip, I have experience installing from my old job. To be honest, I don't want the liability. Very limited liability for dropoff only. Once you add installs to your business, you open the door to more liability, and customers will easily be able to file claims that you broke the product, you didn't install it right, it's not working because of you, etc. I don't want to deal with that.

    Did you have to obtain a business license with your state, county or city to operate your business?

    • @BigCJCargoVan

      No, not to run gig apps or local courier companies. No LLC needed. The Benifits of having one is great, and I recommend if your going all in, get your LLC.

      I will explain on my Rumble page, but I focus on the amount of work (labor), number or items, most important distances. I have a flat rate long as the mileage is at 20 miles or less.

    My question is what insurance policy did opt to go with to cover you for damage while not in transport, and how much is it running you?

    • @BigCJCargoVan
      @BigCJCargoVan Před měsícem +1

      $310, I have my states minimum commercial insurance requirement of 30 60 30 with 5k in cargo insurance. When I had my authority, I had to maintain 300k general liability. Huge difference.

    With gig apps do you need a LLC to write off a vehicle lease ?

    • @BigCJCargoVan
      @BigCJCargoVan Před měsícem +1

      No LLC needed. You can write off your veh lease payments long as it's for business use only, LLC or Sole Preprietor. I have an LLC, but operate and recognized by IRS as an S-corp. LLC is better than Sole proprietor.
