Nunney Castle and Village

Today I have left Glastonbury and headed east towards Frome to the ancient village of Nunney. Here I visit the 14th century castle surroundd by its very own moat. In a first since the covid outbreak in March I find the church open and get to srr inside. A lot of the houses in the village are nearly as old as the castle and are well worth a look.
Finally I find the villages 19th century prisin cell still in remarkably good condition.

My Mother was a Prather (USA) - and my Uncles have written two books on the Prather (Prater) history starting with Nunney Castle. Myself and my brother have had the good fortune to visit the City of Nunney , the Castle and Nunney Church. Seeing this video has brought back great memories of our visit. Thank you so much!

Love Nunney Castle. Love to imagine it restored.
