Fallout 4 is a post-apocalyptic action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth major installment in the Fallout series and was released worldwide on November 10, 2015, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is set within an open world post-apocalyptic environment that encompasses the city of Boston and the surrounding Massachusetts region known as "The Commonwealth". The main story takes place in the year 2287, ten years after the events of Fallout 3 and 210 years after "The Great War", which caused catastrophic nuclear devastation across the United States. The player assumes control of a character referred to as the "Sole Survivor", who emerges from a long-term cryogenic stasis in Vault 111, an underground nuclear fallout shelter. After witnessing the murder of their spouse and kidnapping of their son, the Sole Survivor ventures out into the Commonwealth to search for their missing child. The player explores the game's dilapidated world, complete various quests, help out factions, and acquire experience points to level up and increase the abilities of their character. New features to the series include the ability to develop and manage settlements, and an extensive crafting system where materials scavenged from the environment can be used to craft drugs and explosives, upgrade weapons and armor, and construct, furnish and improve settlements.

Yo im using the pip boy as a torch since the day im playing fallout new vegas and im surprised some people didn't knew it
i knew about the torch fact but still shut the fuck up. not everyone has all their day to spend on videogames like you so a new player might have not known this thing.
The pip boy "torch" isnt a little detail its actually part of the gameplay

one detail they could have mentioned is that (idk about console but on pc) when you have the pipboy up, you can move your arm to get different angles of the pipboy by holding right click and moving the mouse. also you can do the pipboy light in fallout 3 and new vegas, so like you said its not really a little detail, or exclusive to fallout 4
One detail that goes unnoticed for the most part has to do with the fallen skyscraper. The nuke that hit the boston area hit in whats now called the glowing sea. The skyscraper closest to where the nuke hit collapsed and now rests on the skyscraper right next to it, signifying that the shockwave knocked it over. Its a small detail but is a cool detail of the world building that gets overlooked.

You went extremely obvious with a few of these. Like the pip boy light and the pip boy idol animation. Others I didn't know, like valt tec number and dog meat with the bear.

The actual details:
1. Bullets bounce off walls instead of disappearing.
2. Gun sounds change depending on the location.
3. When shooting at objects, different effects appear when the bullet penetrates them.
(I forgot the last 2 ones ;-;)
There are some details you miss
For example:
The color ot the pipboy torch changes based on your ui color that you can change in the settings.
The people of the sanctuary actually repairs the holes in the houses. Some of the house became fixed as you gave them time. (I didn't notice it until my 3rd playthrough).
There are many clues/evidence from the previous fallout games not just the characters. Some of them can even be found dead across the commonwealth.
I think everybody and their mama knew you could use a Pipboy for a flash light.

Fallout 3 is always going to be my favourite from the franchise. I remember exiting the vault for the first time and being thrown into this huge, open world. I make my way to Megaton, find Mr. Burke and blew the town to oblivion. It was at this point in the game I knew it was going to be amazing. I mean, less than an hour into the game, you can make one of the hugest decisions in any Fallout game.

I was actually playing just a few days ago, and realized that there were Halloween decorations all around Diamond City and thought it was a part of some update then realized that we're in July, so I took a look at the in game date and saw October 31st. It's crazy they put this kind of detail into the game!

Bit late but one detail I recently discovered is that when you kill anything and leave the body outside for a couple of days, flies will start to swarm around the corpse.
I learned 2 new things, but still a cool video.

Edit: if you do a Skyrim video there is a little detail. If you have a companion with you and you fast travel the companion will not be with you. If you use the wait option and choose to wait an hour or so. The companion will then be with you after waiting implying that he/she walked or traveled or that way
