Bro I'm Samoan born and raised in California, last time I was in Apia was 2010. I recognize the place still, but it does indeed look way more modern and new from when I remember it. Even that damn McDonald's, I remember it still looking like a McDonald's from the 90s in 2010. And now from.watching Spanians video, I can tell that it's obviously been upgraded since. Because I remember going into that McDonald's (it's the only one in Samoa) in 2010 and laughing at the fact that it looked like it was from the 90s because it was lol

28 y/o from Otautahi, everyone at high school were boys it was all about what hood you grew up in. Didn't matter what the other group of boys were ethnic wise cause we all just repped where we were from. But it mostly came down to east vs west.
The palusami was probably cooked in a umu (underground pit filled with leaves, rocks, coconut husk, etc.) It taste way better cooked that way-earthy and smoky. Thanks for sharing…miss the islands.
