It's still hard to believe that Baki is about to get some smoke from oma. That is something that was believed to be a fantasy fight that would only exist in our minds and now it has come to reality with no warning. It's so unbelievable I have actually gone back to watch the trailer multiple times I have to force myself to believe it.

Strength and speed as well. Kengan characters are just way to fast for Baki characters. Baki characters always get beat by regular stuff except yujiro or musashi. Baki got knocked out by being slam on his back and hit in his solar plexus in 2 different fights like every other person in the world. Kengan characters will blitz them.

The best in the verse again like Baki and hanayama, get knocked out by regular ass stuff. Hanayama recently fell and was knocked out in a fight from it. Baki was slammed on his back and passed out from it. Retsu was almost killed by Joe Fraizer in boxing. Those guys would get slaughtered by kengan characters, they are too fast.

Despite Raian winning, he took way more damage, so of the fight continues, I can confidentally say that Jack can win if the fight wasn't stopped.
I believe if Raian decides to use The Kure Clan Tradition techniques back to back like he did with Alan Wu, with techniques such as “Avidya” and lands it he can easily Blind Jack, then continue to follow it up with Remival and finish off Jack with a lions bite or the technique he used to finish off Edward Wu
The anime setting doesn’t take place anywhere near Omega so it’s least likely he’d be doing it
Jack would just pretend like he doesn’t know where raian is then Jack catches him off guard, grabs raian, then proceeds to destroy him after saying his famous line. “Beautiful”
I believe, even with 100% Release, Raian is a bit below Jack. However, I think Raian is definitely faster. But there's also the fact that Raian doesn't use Kure techniques that often while just simply doesn't have as many techniques of his own. If Jack lands a few well placed bites then Raian might struggle to maintain Release for very long.
I think Jack is faster via feats and scaling with other Baki characters personally BUT it’s not like Raian is totally powerless to blitzing, as Kengan characters in particular have a way to deal with way faster opponents, like Kuroki vs. Rei (and Kuroki couldn’t even perceive Rei)
How is Raian below Jack? Raian just no diff William who has Superman Sydrome and Guihun which is 3.33 multiplier. If anything Raian is above Jack even in base form. If Raian was to take the fight serious and go into Removal off the back Jack is getting blitz without a doubt the power gap would be huge. Now I do believe if we take in character Jack does have a change with Raian since he does bs with his fights.

The Baki characters aren't durable. They are strong but lack durability. They get koed by normal attacks all the time by random people. Hanayama just got knocked out by falling. Raian as much as I love Baki since I grew up with it, would blitz 99% of the verse only excluding Musashi and Yujiro.
The only reason it’s hard to scale because Baki shows how strong the characters through showing super feats real world but Kengan shows through battle and interactions
The earquake feats and the lightning feat is due to yujiro's aura and presence. He can't move at lightning speeds and he can't shift entire tectonic plates with a punch

You actually brought up something nobody ever does when it comes to scaling earthquake feats. Even in real life different types of human activities, such as mining operations, can start an earthquake. However, stopping an earthquake belongs entirely in the realm of fiction. Yujiro's feat is a bit too absurd even for Baki's world, so I personally believe that the earthquake just stopped by itself, but if it didn't, then Yujiro is confirmed to be able to move tectonic plates and that is far and beyond of what even Shen was shown capable of.

Raian seems to be undergoing a significant leap in power and skill currently, especially judging by how easily he packed and smoked those two Wu Clan guys, absolutely dog-walking them while implying through how the sword works that he may have developed some of his principles to a level approaching the Connector. So it's hard to say where his ceiling is now. We'll get a better idea where he's really at when he inevitably ends up fighting a guy like Gilbert Wu. It's pretty clear that's the fight they'd be building to for Raian.
Also, for the sake of the crossover, I think they went with the right result.

Now he low diffed willem who was at 100% guihun while having superman syndrome, and Willem is arguably way way above KAT Waka Julius and Raian. And current base Raian was toying with full power Willem. Raian is a fck monster, i can't even imagine what a 100% removal serious Raian can do rn. He might be the strongest physically in the kengan verse, I don't see waka and Julius getting huge buff in strength they've milked most of they're growth, while Raian will continue to grow

Good breakdown, I think Raian wins he is melding techniques to his development that exceed his natural performance. Jack is taking the obscure path of a Hanma patterning his style around biting is a sneaky move, like a nut shot or hidden blade.
Both get frazzled when their best gets tanked, maybe they will get into deep water fights that drives them to go all out.

I say raian wins this simply due to him being the greater of the two when it comes to technique, although Jack has developed a strong martial art it's still young and unrefined and he himself is not a killer whereas killing what raian does for a living.
Also Didn't Raian beat someone who has what wakasuki has but I get it isn't as strong as wakasuki but he uses release and Raian fought him Base form and it looks like he's stronger so Raian in base alone should be close to Jack right?

Jacks endurance and durability are too absurd. I know raian has the same schtick but ya, the goudou is too hard of a counter as well. I can’t see a conclusion other then Jack turning raian into Swiss cheese. He can already take full power hits from a man with a grip that can create diamonds. And if committed, can take down Doppo + level opponents with essentially next to no difficulty

Let's do this, the younger yujiro that fought baki as a 13 year old, stopped a Magnitude 6 earthquake, which is town level, or 15 kilotons of force, but when near current baki got hit by imaginary yujiro, it made an earthquake, a Magnitude 4, which is city block level, or 15 tons of force, so let's say baki is around city block level, hitting himself against a wall hard enough to knock him out, and if you do not know, 1000 tons is 1 kiloton, so how many times stronger is baki's feat vs yujiro's feats, yujiro's feat is literally 1000x that of baki's feat, and yujiro said himself that he gets stronger every day, not by a lot, but he does by little. So just like how a man grabbed onto a door handle as yujiro did, and overpowered him easily, those moments in the early age of baki manga, are massively inconsistent moments and aren't considered canon.

For jack I see him as slower than baki and Yujiro as he is more of a power fighter not a speed fighter. And some of the fastest confirmed feats are the super sonic punch in the pickle arc and baki moving in the half second knocking out Oliver for a bit. As for raian the best speed feat we have is him blitzing 3 removed west wu members before anyone could realise and catching rei's punch without removal but that hasn't been confirmed for its speed and lastly the clash with ohma.
As for strength jack has many feats to go off of but raian really only has him lifting and throwing Mokichi Robinson with 1 hand. As all other feats are through techniques and the connector himself has stated that ohma shouldn't be to different from him in terms of physical stats so raian shouldn't be too much off either the techniques are what makes there physical strength harder to calculate.
Seeing its ashura and not omega raian would be far weaker for the match up i strongly believe omega raian could give jack a lot of life risks blows
