Lo-Fi is definitely one of the best Avid plugin. Its "Distortion" knob (which is a soft clipper) is absolutely phenomenal, the only dowside is that it does aliases (like any harmonic plugin with no oversampling). An update adding an Oversampling option would be awesome, but unfortunately very unlikely .
Yea a oversampling option would be nice! That’s why I love the clipper from SIR.

@@bobstanford3452 if you have 30min, I invite you to watch this video from the great Dan Worrall czcams.com/video/-jCwIsT0X8M/video.html . But aliasing is an inherent issue of digital audio, it's good to know it's there and how it works but don't get obsessed by it, that's my advice.
For real, I was just thinking I need a new convolution reverb, looking at altiverb, liquid sonic, dropping $$$...I then realize the Space plugin comes with my PT license. The UI doesn't look as pretty, but pretty UIs don't make my mix sound better!! People definitely sleep on the stock plugins and it wastes a lot of time and money.

Maaaan you encouraged me to purchase the waves ssl strip. I love how analog it looks. I was using it yesterday [g-channel] on some acoustic piano and man, it’s all about them little adjustments.
