Totally relate w Ketchikan. Was on the Bliss last week
It's such a waste of time. Knowing what we know now, we should have taken an uber back to the ship. Expensive, but better to have the time in port than waiting in line.
Hearing your port times is why I’ve chosen Holland America with their long itinerary in every port. Also they have seniority and dock right up front. Hope you get to go back
I think you made the right decision! The perks on Norwegian are great, but Alaska is a place you want to stay in port!
Ships that go to Alaska should have an enclosure over the pool so people can still go swimming.
no Dawes glacier until late May or June...too much ice
@@markanderson4163 it was a beautiful sail in, but definitely disappointing when we had to turn back.
NCL really bit the big one with Ketchikan...EVERYONE complains about it...too far from town...impossible shuttle schedules, you aren't there long enough...it's a disaster.
