The Philippines when it comes to copyrights, patents and trademarks are protected by the law for it is vast and wide. It is implemented to keep the integrity of work, genuineness, as well as originality of approach to any business in order to make a business continuous and preserve its materials, substance. The Philippines LAW and the RULE OF LAW that fully acknowledges other laws as E-Commerce law to protect consumers from FRAUD, and practices of fraud and theft. This video is well explained and should be explained adept for many users to know their rights as business owners, rights of both Private and Public Sectors for Government offices as individuals that consists the said sectors covers the veracity of individuals that consists the said offices as registered, registrations are implemented.

I have a question for you po. My firetrucks name is Bumberenzo. The problem is I want my Fire Truck travel around the world in countries like France, Italy and USA, but the problem is a show called super wings made their fire truck go to Paris. and another show called robocar poli made their fire truck go to Paris. Same concepts but different expressions. Super wings wants their firetruck to travel to Paris because they want to stop a giant monster. Whilst robocar poli made their fire truck travel to Paris to make a song to teach the kids about global capitals. But my Fire Truck is going to travel to Paris because I wanted to go have a Christmas vacation. Do I have to change the idea of my firetruck going to Paris? Thanks!

Hi Jhun! To answer your question, you can also think of it this way. For example, your friend asked you to write a whitepaper regarding a certain concept. Then, your friend submitted it to his boss claiming that it was his own work. How would you feel? From that scenario, you can come up with an idea of how you can answer the question you raised. "Copyright infringement is punishable by law.
Under Philippine law, copyright infringement is punishable by the following:
Imprisonment of between 1 to 3 years and a fine of between 50,000 to 150,000 pesos for the first offense.
Imprisonment of 3 years and 1 day to six years plus a fine of between 150,000 to 500,000 pesos for the second offense.
Imprisonment of 6 years and 1 day to 9 years plus a fine ranging from 500,000 to 1,500,000 pesos for the third and subsequent offenses.
The offending party may also be ordered to pay civil damages.
Injunction and destruction of the infringing goods or products can also be obtained, as well as seizure and impounding of any article which may serve as evidence in the court proceedings."
