    With the flight reservation, I’m trying to reserve one but it gets canceled after 72hours by which time the visa is still being processed. In this case, what can I do?

    • @patriciabredtoft
      @patriciabredtoft  Před 11 měsíci

      Hi, your flight reservation got canceled because it reached the reservation payment time. If you make a reservation and you are not planing to buy the flight ticket, you have to save and print the reservation before it get canceled. Some airlines even gives you 48 hours before it automatically canceled.
      Flight reservations doesn’t last for many days.

    Oh my God, I just came acrosss your channel. How fortunate I am. Am Nuridini from Kumasi, pls I had an offer for a summer program in Finland and it's a short course for 1 month duration but inclass is 2 weeks whilst online is two weeks making it a month. Pls with regards to the health insurance,.
    1. Do i buy the exact duration am spending there which is the two weeks or do i buy a month insurance?
    2. I operate a business and wikk be using my business Certificate, tax ckey and bank statement. Am also a nurse, is is best i add a recommendation from my work place, payslip and if so, is it mandatory to add the bank statement of the bank i receive my salary? The salary bank is different from my business bank.
    My financial muscle is business account which i intend yo use that...

      Hi Nurudeen,
      1. You buy the insurance only for your intended stay in Finland which is two weeks. You will only buy a month insurance if you will be staying in Finland for one month.
      2. It will be relevant if you add your business and personal documents and other essential supporting documents you have mentioned in your comment as much as possible because that will indicates how well you are financially capable of supporting yourself whiles your are in Finland.
      You can use your business account if that’s where you have strong muscles.

    Please is it a good idea to apply 90 day tourist visa for your first time?

    • @patriciabredtoft
      @patriciabredtoft  Před 10 měsíci

      Hi Victor, as a first timer, applying 90 days tourist visa is a RED FLAG 🚩 and a big mistake many applicants do, at least based on the few applicants that I know whom their visas was DENIED.
      You must have a concrete reasons as in why you want that long duration as a first timer. What are you going to do ? That needs 90 days in the Schengen area? Ask yourself that.
      In my opinion, it’s better to go for one or two weeks as a first timer. That’s my impression. Hope this helps ☺️

    i applied for a danish visit visa on 28/06/23. On 7/7/23 i submited my biometrics to the VFS . ON 25/07/23 the
    embassy called me with a few questions which i aswered. I was scheduled to travel as from 1/08/22 up to 31/08/23. I not received any feedback from the embasy or the VFS so far. Please advice on what i should do.

    • @patriciabredtoft
      @patriciabredtoft  Před 11 měsíci

      Hi, please I would suggest you either call the VFS or the Danish embassy contact numbers.
      Rgarding the Danish embassy I would suggest you send them an email-This is their email accambvisa@um.dk ,you can also get it from their website. I prefer normally to write them a mail than a phone call as they are fast to reply when you write them than calling their phone numbers I think.
      And ask them you are following up with your visa application number blah blah blah you submitted and you wanted to know the status of it, and introduce yourself by mentioning your full name in the email and perhaps your passport number.
