I am Korean American as well. Growing up, Korean language was the required language at home; but, I spoke English at school. I also feel more comfortable speaking English but I am able to have a basic conversation in Korean. I enjoy watching your videos and was proud that I was able to understand your Korean.

That is how I was taught growing up. You have no idea how much this has helped me with more opportunities than you can imagine. Learning a second language from a young age is so critical to improving your comprehension. People think I'm a native Korean when I speak Korean because they can't hear any English accent and vice versa. So fortunate that my parents only required me to speak Korean at home but always speak English outside.
