It’s a pen to put your grids on the red cloth. It will wash out.

I love cross stitch along with DP. A few tips: you shouldn’t show the actual chart on CZcams unless it’s a freebie. The pen may be a fabric pen for marking a grid but test it first. If it is it will disappear with either water or heat. Most fabrics come with the edges sewn to prevent fraying as the tape left stains if left on too long.
Hi Claudia, thank you for your useful tips to bear in mind. Bit nervous about a fabric pen so may not use that - sounds like another calamity I would end up in 😂

I agree with the other comment, the pen looks like one designed to dissolve on the fabric after use. You would use it to mark a ten by ten grid on the fabric to make counting easier. Not sure if I’d be brave enough….. I’d worry it wouldn’t wash out (especially considering how long it would take me to finish the kit) 🤣🤣

Hi Anthea, I got alot for my pennies, really pleased 😊 The pen may still unused in order to avoid another calamity 😂 Didn't even think of it being for fabric and not brave enough either. Will let you know how I get on ... still up for our stitch along though
I adore cross stitch! Unfortunately my hands cannot grasp a needle these days, so I stuck with Diamond painting instead.

Do you happen to have the listing for the four seasons cross stitch please. I’ve tried looking for it but to no avail. I did the same thing on Temu thinking it was a diamond painting as it was listed as such.

I used to cross stitch years ago before my eyes got too old and tired to see all those little squares. Those kits look great and we’re sure a bargain. Good luck.
