go watch a jordan mason highlight reel, i have no idea why Kyle did not use him in the sb. He could have been the difference. CMC was out of gas the whole game. Mason is so powerful in his running.
Mason averaged nearly as many yards and TDs per carry as CMC and did not fumble the ball a single time--yet Mason didn't receive a single snap during the entire postseason.
Ronnie Lott type safeties are worth their weight in gold. If that is what Mustapha is then the 49ers got themselves a steal. And I personally see both Cowing and Guerendo as future impact players. I have to admit that Shanahan and Lynch outdid themselves in rounds 1-4. On paper, the 49ers are once again the team to beat and will be far deadlier this season than they were last season, on both sides of the ball.

I like Cowing and Mustapha is certainly interesting, but if you remove the numbers for Guerendo and just watch the tape, I don't see any reason for drafting the guy. Schrader (UDFA) looks much better on film.

Of the small, quick WRs in the draft, Cowing seems to be a better actual FOOTBALL player.

Dieter you have a good eye for the game. Good takes on a lot of things. Larry you always kill it you know that.
Keep in mind one guy advocated heavily for Lance. I don’t know how you can evaluate a draft until at least a year or two afterwards. You can certainly see they went after offense early, but that’s it.
You can literally watch Krueg talk in 2x speed and get through this in half the time.
kyle not "trusting" jp mason is on him. mason is on the team, he beat out the guy kyle drafted in the 3rd rd. Both of them. and he was good enough to make the team. I don't think it so much that kyle didn't trust mason, but rather mason wasn't dynamic enough for kyle to be "creative" in play calling. again this is kyle's ego getting in the way

😂 Turner n Kyle has been hit n miss with RB picks. Davis-Price, Mitchell, Sermon, even UFAs 3 RB pickups didn't make rosters. Speed is good. But RB needs to catch, run n block. Agree. Played Cmc too much. Kyle doesn't play rookie or backups much. Maybe, why team is tired middle season n playoff. Sounds like Niners got another SS. What they need was a FS to replace Gibson. On WR, as Krueg mention in a different video, there are 10-11 players via for 5-6 spots. Might have to let go some. Didn't Niners try the small WR before with Taylor, but he kept getting injured. But Niners brought him back for Punts? If so worried, call for free catch. Niners brought in a small WR FA from UFL, but didn't sign him. Too early to call draft grade. But head scratcher. But do I know. Need at O-line, ranked #20-28. Niners think they can coach up? 3 UFA O-line pickups last yr, 2 made practice squad. Defense fell to #12 rank. Another yr of re-treads. Hargrave was underwhelming. Armistead n Kinlaw gone. Who stops run. SS Hufanga n LB Greenlaw injured, who replaces. TE Kittle replacement has shown anything yet n one backup left. OT Williams on his last legs, see what happens every time he miss time. Worse, trade pkck with Chiefs, who used on an OT. WtF? Niners want to help rivals to get better? Chiefs trade up for speedy WR. Niners counter wasn't a cover CB (the CB they picked was 1st rd) or better ED/DE who could heat. They picked another WR. Are the Niners playing 4 WR? Harder to hide run/pass options. Have gotten much out of drafts. Good Bosa, Armistead, Buckner. Questionable Thomas, Kinlaw Lance. Everyone makes mistakes. Niners been lucky, Warner, Kittle, Greenlaw, Jennings, Brock, etc...Hope their luck holds out. Don't expect much from UFAs or lower rds (5-7). Kyle or Niners don't keep many rookies. But Niners need to get younger, better, cheaper. Big payday for players next season.
