Ok thank you for this. But there's a problem: once the test user completed the order on Paypal, in the orders index in Woocommerce, the order is set in "Pending payment". Even in your tutorial this happens. This is bad because i want to know if the user have already done the payment. How can i achieve this? Thank you very much!
You need to setup the IPN return for this to happen. At the moment Paypal isn't telling WooCommerce that payment is received. Here's a help guide on setting this up - docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-standard/#section-5 have a look at the "Paypal IPN URL" section.
@@skube That's why I always test live 😊 makes life more exciting. Although it probably annoys my customers when they find the cart broken which does happen quite a bit with my site I've noticed. Hang tight till the next update when you can do your head in testing it all again! Fun stuff!

Hi Peter, I don't think it matters - as this is just a Dummy account for test transactions. So either select credit card or leave it as is and test it. Should still work okay. Cheers Hogan.

Hi..thank you for this tutorial. But it just made me curious though, like the money and everything we used in sandbox mode won't effect the real account right? So,no real payments were made and the balance thingy are all just doesn't exist? Just for confirmation. :)
@@HoganChua if creativeway10@gmail.com is a real account then it's less secure because we know the email associated with it and we can tell the password is 11 characters long. If it's a fake account or you've done something else to obscure it then ignore me, but if it's real I can still see details in your dashboard and when you sign in. Also, thanks for the video it helped me out.

It seems silly if sandbox mode doesn't give full status of a test payment. Isn't that the whole point, to test the entire process?

This video lets the whole world see your paypal email address and the length of your password. Wouldn't recommend showing those details to the world.
