The sad life of single teenage mothers in Kenya
When Becky and Naomi had unprotected intimate relationships with their boyfriends, they were sure they would not get pregnant. However, misinformation about contraception methods had consequences: today they are raising their children by themselves but they are so grateful for the little blessings and promise to do whatever it takes to take care of their babies.

Naomi I can feel living with relatives is the most hardest thing ever. Me I happen to living with relatives too since my mum left me I was a child by then and since then I can tell you it have been difficult to. At the moment am trying to make it though I don't have a child but my hardwork is paining them, they told down on me everyday. I mean this is so hard to us who don't have anyone to listen to our sorrows but don't give yet God's time is the best.

@lucy wachira... well, it’s nothing new in African countries or South America to have a child with young age.
My mother had my older brother in 1977 with age 15 and most of people that time did the same thing.
My friend is from Colombia, she had her daughter at age 15 and became a grandmother at age of 32.

I got pregnant at 18, that was after staying home for two years due to lack of fees,I knew my parents will turn so mad at me but I said hata wakuwe mad at me huyu mtoi nitamzaa,it was so heartbreaking coz the guy who was responsible for it even suggested for an abortion 😢😭 I said no liwalo na liwe I'm gonna have my kid,I started a small grocery which supported me and managed to shop for my baby... believe me by the time I delivered had done all the shopping for my baby and had enough cash ya kunisukuma hadi nipate nguvu. my babyboy is now grown up....he is studying his degree at Moi University.... so gals you just accept it happened and you take it from there,be strong and focus on your kid...kosa sio kosa kosa ni kurudia kosa.

By the time my Mum realised what was going I put to bed within four weeks. We are a bit well off my Mum was so embrass and ashamed you know the stigma in the nineties , she had to quickly package lol and send me to England . I left my boy with Mum and she did a good job , My boy will be 29 years this year with A masters degree from a top University in London. I never look back and always thank GOD for given me a good Mother and a special son.. I know it is had for these girls if there is no means and way out and it’s so disheartening and sad .l won’t mind supporting one of the girls if they promised to go back to school and get a day care for the child ( both Mother & Child). If all women and girls can open up and talk about their first sexual experience, more than 80% have been raped without even knowing it.. Rape is no longer the forceful experience that we know as society, it has mutated into coercing, luring and deceiving females to give in into sex.. And the most vulnerable are teenage girls.... This is sad, and I hope that these girls will continue with their education....
A man can choose not to be a father but a girl cannot.. You get forced into a life you never wished for.. Most unfair thing ever...
The worst thing is teen moms are regarded as sluts while for most it was just the first sexual encounter..
The law should be amended, coz rape is happening low key in these teen relationships.... You don't have to put a gun to my head for me to consider it as rape, if I say no and you manipulate me, then ruin my life, that's a crime..
But society is not ready for this talk
