Nice to see Chas goofing off and the boys getting a laugh out of it, but the best part of the full episode was about Cain. Charity's lackluster birthday celebration was just the comic relief for the real drama.
Guys did you know Danny Miller is nominated yet again in the shorlist for the NTAs this year? It´s unbelievable. You have most of January to vote. The surprise is that there is a second actor from Emmerdale among the 5 nominees (the one playing Moira. So glad, cause I´ve always loved her), something very rare.
I'm just dying to know what kind of dramatic storyline the writers are going to give Aaron this spring because Danny has been up for Best Dramatic Actor for the British Soap Awards and won so many times. I would be extremely shocked if the writers don't give Aaron something to cry about. Unless something has changed, the wedding won't happen until summer and I'm pretty sure that would be too late for any BSA nomination consideration. So, I would think it would be something good to reach the bar Jackson's Right to Die and Aaron's Abuse set. I refuse to believe this insecurity about Rebecca is going to turn into anything major.

I didn't notice this at first but Chas hitting Aaron and telling him to "stop it" when his eyes are glued to Rob and Rebeca. She's starting to worry. She should have thought about that before adding to Aaron's paranoia and telling him Robert was cheating, rme. As to Aaron's issues it's not that he doesn't trust Robert, he does.... it's himself that he doesn't trust, that's different. He fears Robert will leave him because he's not good enough. Look if he didn't trust his fiance he would be 100% sure that Rob was cheating on him. He's said many times that he knows Robert is NOT cheating. And let's not forget all the crap Rob put him thru in the beginning:as much as he loves and trusts him, those doubts will always be there. I hope they have a good talk about their relationship and Aaron's insecurities soon. In a way, it's better that this is dealt with now than when they're married.

i'm almost agree with you. we know the past of both but the storyline of car crash and no return épisodes is already erased from their minds. Robert 's coming out to aaron and the come back for the ring in the car sank... if aaron don't trust Rob, I don't know how he can... relationship is a daily battle and need attention but love must bring comfort and trust.

OK he said to aaron is bi in the car. but when they have conflict, aaron stops the car and Rob goes out. in the forest Rob confesses he was attracted by a farmer's lad when he was 15. Rob and the lad have been interrupted by his dad. he was unhappy Rob was gay, since that Rob tries to be the person who his dad attempt to be. but aaron change everything. It's not a proof ? isn't enough ? sorry for my english but l'm french...

Now he is clear with that but it has been taken years. so asking Rob to be ok in a few weeks. It's excessive. to be attracted myself to men, it's not easy to confess even to some people who are close to me. as a psychologist, I met several people who are like Rob... they are married and they have sex with men but it's not easy for them to be what they really are. because for the kids they have, social pressure, work, colleagues, family and so on. OK aaron reveals their affair because he's suffering of the situation but It's not so easy in real life. Rob has lost the white's money for aaron 's skin. It's another proof.
after reading all your comments i agree, but we have to remember that Robert believes Aaron is fine with him and Rebecca being friends, Roberts not a mind reader and Aarons problems go way back even before Robert came along so Robert clearly cant take all the blame. i dont even believe that Robert realises just how serious Aarons problems are. I swear the majority of CZcams here have no clue what it's like to have mental health issues! What so you all think because Aaron's been happier recently that his illness just disappeared overnight? Because if so then you're all dumber than I thought! You're all so focused on the romancy stuff that you can't even be bothered to understand Aaron's mental state and insecurities which started since he was a small boy! And tbh I find it a hell of a lot more interesting and engaging than any scene Robert is in on his own, because when he's not with Aaron he's with Rebecca which is so predictable and boring! Aaron's mental story hasn't finished! He'll probably end up having some kind of breakdown eventually and there have been talks of therapy episodes for him. Which I think is brilliant and well worth it! Stop moaning about his mental illness and maybe understand that maybe it's pretty normal for someone to feel wary over the fact their partner is getting close again with their ex lover (who he kissed back not so long ago btw). She tried couple of times, failed miserably, conceded defeat (for now), and found someone new and eager to play with. Izzy A I think he's cross with himself. He is trying so hard, but no matter what he does there is still that voice in his head telling him to watch it. I'm glad Emmerdale choose to explore this side of a relationship. In Aarons case it is understandable. But he is trying so hard to be ok with Robert and Rebecca. You can tell by the expression on his face at the bar when R+R and drinking shots, that Aaron is mad at himself, which makes him sad. You think being insecure is hard on your partner (I know it is) , try being the one that is insecure, We have so many things going around our head. There's always that tiny little voice, that you want so much to ignore, but cant. Your heart tells you one thing and your head tells you another. It gets to the point that you dont know what the hell to believe anymore.
Gonna miss Charity/Chas scenes like this when Lucy Pargeter goes on maternity leave - they're brilliant together. Aaron, Robert and Ross' reactions to their dancing was priceless!

tdrmn Oh thank you so much for the info. I used to know a lot about these developments but this last year I´ve been so out of it. I´m surprised at how long Coira is lasting. When Charity went to prison and said and tried what she said and tried and promised to do (getting cain back) I thought Coira days will be over in a year-time at most.
Well, Coira have been separated for quite a while (about 6 months I think) and Charity played a big part in that (she got with Cain while Coira were on the rocks and they became a couple for like a month or so but Cain broke up with her because he still loved Moira). But Cain and Moira continue to gravitate towards eachother and they keep on sharing scenes so it's only a matter of time really.

Camron Gregor like ive just said in my previous comment the chance of self harming again is always present. mental illness isnt something to be ashamed of. ive self harmed in the past but i could relapse again at any time in particular stressful/emotional situations. its always present in the back of your mind. no ive not had therapy for it. how you deal with the urge not to self harm is always a challange. just looked and NAMI (National Alliance On Mental Illness) indicates self harm is not classed as a mental illness.
