  • Bentonville has more than 40 miles of trails, plus another 150 miles of an unrivaled regional trail network, chock full of adventure and scenic breaks along the way. The expanding hospitality opportunities - bolstered by award-winning restauranteurs, a vibrant coffee scene, and a boom of daring and bold craft brewers - offers locals and visitors serious business while on their bikes, albeit fun, charming and a memorable impression.
Everything you could want is within a short ride from the trails; whether it’s lodging, restaurants, drinks, or art museums. The local economy has embraced Bentonville’s role as a leader in mountain biking tourism and has developed and attracted a number of quality bike shops, rental and retail vendors, bike guides, and manufacturers, along with professional riders and outdoor enthusiasts.

Love it here in NWA. Love the OZ Trail network. Probably getting a bit ahead of ourselves with 'Capital of the World', but definitely Capital of the Region! (between the Rockies and Appalachia)

Shouldn't you have mountains if you are going to be the mountain bike capital of the world?

Great place to live and visit, especially for the mountain biking...not the MTB capital of the world. Self declarations or paid endorsements...seems desperate. People might not like my comment, but it's honest.

Great trails and a definite destination for mountain bikers but pre-mature, unsubstantiated and yeah, even desperate sounding unfortunately. Shouldn’t stop people from riding these awesome trails but whoever is pushing this narrative, especially this early, sounds like a marketing square who sold this catchphrase in a conference room with pie charts and skewed data via a PowerPoint presentation. Disregard the hype and enjoy the trails regardless. Arkansas is most definitely on the map. BC is still your daddy though and the world’s a big place my dudes.
