@@mischievous0 both but more optimal post game when you have access to herba mystica through 5 and 6 star raids so you can get level 3 sparkling power, method can be done with level 2 encounter power just will take a bit longer for the shiny to spawn as you’ll not have the increased odds

I think in this case having your menu open is the best thing, because the shiny is easy to recognize and that way as soon as you see the shiny especially someone who is doing this and is a bit younger or new to this could just immediately click R1 to save the game at the moment the shiny spawned in front of them :)
I am so unlucky, I have failed this twice with this method. The first one I failed because I accidentally encountered a non shiny one and when I ran away I fell off the cliff into the town. The second one I failed because it decided to run STRAIGHT INTO THE TOWN and I couldn't get it.
Same thing happened to me but I eventually caught the third! Lol
Dude, I'm on my 5th attempt, even when riding Miradon, I can't catch it in time before it fucking runs itself off the cliff.... I hate this method tbh...
Does anyone know why even when I make the sandwich they're only tauros, wattrel, oinklogne spawns
Tried this three times with shiny charm and lvl 3 shiny sandwich. 2 of the 3 times a shiny did not appear. The other time it ran off the cliff 🤦♂️

The problem with this method is having the shiny run off the cliff. I've lost two shinies because of this.
just caught mine! first sandwich and took no longer than ONE minute, ran straight at me🙈❤️

I've failed twice trying to do this due to town borders
I found one weeks ago full odds I clipped it I was shook! It was pressed against the wall like it got stuck
nice method! just wanted to mention that resetting the spawns is faster by entering the town. just ride your pkm and jump a little bit of the cliff towards the town and land on the cliff afterwards. does save time but also gives you the advantage to always ride and have a better chance to catch that speedy shiny ;) thanks anyway!
This works great but I have failed 4 shiny cyclizars because they are going into levincia and I can’t get them then they respawn any tips?
JUST GOT MINE WITH THIS METHOD, didn’t even had her a mystica so I had no sparkle power and just lvl 2 dragon encounter but I found it!! It works very well
It helps to save when cyclizar runs off the cliff. I reloaded the game and it was sleeping under the tree!
Levincia is right behind you and clips into part of the ledge you are on. You don't need to picnic reset, just take a few steps back and town reset. As long as a Cyclizar isn't standing behind you and starts battle.
Just found this video and tried it out, it worked and I found a shiny. Unfortunately it ran off the side of the cliff and despawn itself. My first shiny fail. RIP.
With many shiny methods that ppl are finding, I hope someone finds a Tinkatink or Tinkatuff shiny method. Im still pretty early into the game and been trying to summon an outbreak of one of them but haven't managed to do so
there is a easy town reset i used with a lvl 2 encounter sandwich

As soon as you see the shiny spawn can you drop save that way if it goes off the cliff you can just reload?
1 is spawning every picnic and move
I found one in 10 seconds… then failed it because I forgot to save and the shiny went straight to the border of levencia and the cliffside and it despawned… was not happy

I got a shiny cyclizar by PURE accident.
I just got off of my Miraidon. When I get ran over from behind by Cyclizar. used a quick ball and done.
Its being a nightmare for me, i spent over an hour and the two shinys that came up just ran off the cliff
Doesn't seem to work anymore they dont seem to spawn hear whats so ever anymore i only get ramdom pokemon

I made the lv.3 dragon sandwich & im standing exactly where you are. But I keep getting other spawns like Tauros, Marrill, Wattrel etc. anyone know what I’m doing wrong lol?

Got it yesterday! And that save DID come in handy... the little butt despawned. On reload he was sleeping by the tree. Hehehe

I guess Im VERY UNLUCKY. Encountered a shiny one, panicked and didnt save right away. Decided to run from one to drop a save, and despawned IMMEDIATELY by being near town. Very upset, but reclaim should be easy. Just save once u see one.
Amazingly there's an island to the SW just w hop from there that works in a similar manner. Got my Cyclizar in 10 minutes 😂

It took me a while to get the shiny cyclizar but this video really helped me get one it probably took over one hundred cyclizar encounters before I finally found my shiny

This shiny farm is terrible... Took me 5 hours on 2 switches at the same time to finally catch one. Twice it just ran off into the city... By then I was already farming the 4th round

Thanks for wasting my time. ALL five I got to spawn ran to the left and into town. While I did not waste herba I wasted 3 hours. I'll go back to outbreaks where it's less of a dice roll to fail the shiny outright.

You are mispronouncing it. It’s pronounced with hard C sound on the second C like the word cycle. As in bicycle. Cuz it looks like a bicycle.
